Magic: The Gathering | Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles released for tabletop on March 6, 2026. To see the full card lineup, start with Wizards’ official card gallery. If you’re deciding what to buy, choose by how you want to play: Play Boosters for opening packs, Collector Boosters for premium treatments, or the Turtle Power! Commander Deck for a ready-to-play Turtle-themed deck. A booster does not guarantee a particular character or named card.
What cards are in the TMNT MTG set?
Wizards describes the crossover as bringing Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles characters and stories into Magic. The official card gallery is the best place to browse the lineup and inspect individual cards and their treatments.
The release uses three set codes, which help distinguish the main set from cards associated with other products:
- TMT: the main set.
- TMC: the Eternal-legal Commander cards.
- PZA: Source Material cards.
Wizards says TMT cards are legal in all formats, TMC cards are legal in Commander, Legacy, and Vintage, and PZA cards are legal in formats where the same cards were already available. Format legality and bans can change, so check the current official format information before building a deck for an event.

Gallery images are digital renderings, not photographs of finished cards. Wizards also notes that Headliner cards are mechanically identical to their other treatments: the special version changes the presentation, not the card’s mechanics.
Which product should you choose?
The right product depends on whether you want to open packs, play immediately, draft, or collect special versions. This comparison uses Wizards’ February 2026 collecting guide; its MSRP figures are publisher reference prices, not guaranteed current store prices.

What comes in Turtle Team-Up?
Turtle Team-Up is the most direct choice if you want a cooperative TMNT-themed game rather than a regular booster-opening session. Wizards describes it as playable by up to four people. The box contains:

- A punch-out counter sheet, four deck boxes, and a tutorial booklet.
The four hero decks share 29 different new-to-Magic TMC cards across them, with eight of those cards in each themed deck, according to Wizards’ product and collecting information.
Do boosters guarantee a specific TMNT card?
No. Wizards’ product information describes possible rarities and treatments, not a promise that a particular character or named card will appear in any individual booster. If you have one specific card in mind, buying that card as a single is the more direct approach; the official product pages do not establish current single-card prices or stock.

Collector Boosters include art cards as well as possible premium card treatments. In a 2026 Wizards article, author Jubilee Finnegan says that 35% of Magic: The Gathering | Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Collector Boosters contain one of 54 different art cards. The article also says one in seven art cards features a gold-stamped artist signature or Planeswalker symbol. These are distribution figures for that product, not a guarantee for an individual pack.
