These review labels and counts are attributed to GamingOnLinux’s roundup, published 5 October 2026. What Steam Deck Verified means
Valve describes Verified games as ones that “work great on Steam Deck, right out of the box.” The category is based on compatibility checks, not on how much players like a game.

Start with the kind of game you want rather than treating the review label as a complete buying guide. The list spans survival, strategy, role-playing, puzzle, action and sports games, among other genres. Valheim has by far the largest review count in this selection, while the other titles have smaller but still substantial totals; counts indicate how many reviews were shown, not whether a game suits your tastes.

Check each game’s current Steam store listing for its price, availability and current Deck compatibility status before buying. Valve’s compatibility catalogue is live and may change, while the figures here reflect the October 2026 roundup rather than a live store check. SteamDB also maintains a 2026 top-rated games page using its own SteamDB Rating and filters, so it should not be treated as the source or methodology for this particular selection.
