The completed stack is the pattern to copy.
How to solve an arrow-block puzzle
- Compare the stacks. Find the completed stone stack and use its arrow directions and positions as the reference for the incomplete one.
- Lift a loose block. Cast Wingardium Leviosa on an arrow block.
- Rotate the arrow. Turn the block until its arrow matches the corresponding position in the completed stack. Game8 reports that keyboard players rotate with Q and E; controller players use the directional pad. Controls may depend on your platform or configuration.
- Place the block. Put it in the matching position on the incomplete stack, then repeat for any remaining gaps.
The goal is to reproduce the reference arrangement—not to infer a separate code or use a particular sequence of spells on the blocks.

What if Wingardium Leviosa is still locked?
Game8 says Wingardium Leviosa unlocks after Professor Garlick’s Assignment 1. If you reach a vault before completing that assignment, make a note of its location and return after learning the spell.
Depulso can launch blocks, but Game8 does not recommend it for this puzzle: getting a block into the precise position is difficult. Wingardium Leviosa is the practical option for lifting, rotating, and placing blocks accurately.

Reported arrow-block vault locations
Game8 describes examples in North Ford Bog and Feldcroft. These are reported locations, not a confirmed complete list of every arrow-block vault.
North Ford Bog
Look near the large bridge below San Bakar’s Tower Floo Flame. The reported entry route is to burn the wooden gate with Incendio and remove it with Accio. Inside, use Wingardium Leviosa to match the incomplete stack to the completed one.

Feldcroft, north of the troll lair
This example is north of a troll lair, itself north of Feldcroft Floo Flame. Use Accio on the spell cube and put it on the platform, then cast Levioso to enter. Solve the arrow-block stack by matching it to the completed pattern with Wingardium Leviosa.

A further example is reported near the shoreline west of Rookwood Castle Floo Flame. Depulso opens the door, but the available description does not establish the full solution inside; use the completed stack as your guide rather than assuming a specific block placement.
