What did GameStop reportedly list?
PC Gamer reported that GameStop appeared to list the Nintendo Switch 2 version for $20 in the week before the official price announcement. GameSpot also reported that the price was confirmed after the listing surfaced. In other words, the leak’s headline figure matched the developer’s subsequent US digital price, but the listing should be described as reported rather than as a page that can still be checked.

What is the confirmed digital price?
Team Cherry announced the game’s digital price on September 1, 2025: USD $19.99, EUR €19.99, and JPY ¥2300. The same announcement gave September 4, 2025 as the release date. The currencies are the developer’s stated prices; they do not establish a universal price for every country or storefront.

The US PlayStation listing currently shows $19.99 for PS4 and PS5 and gives September 4, 2025 as the release date. That is a US storefront check, not a price check for other regions or platforms.
How does the later physical edition compare?
The digital launch price and the later physical standard edition are different products and should not be conflated. Fangamer’s current US product page lists physical copies for Nintendo Switch 2, PS5, and Xbox Series X at prices ranging from $39 to $45, depending on the option. The page labels them as preorders scheduled to ship November 10, 2026.

Fangamer’s physical-edition announcement says the Switch 2 version is also playable on Nintendo Switch and mentions a foldout map. Its current product page gives the preorder price range, ship date, included manual and poster, and DLC detail. The stated $39–$45 range is for that later physical product, not the original digital launch price.
