Her released kit gives that prediction a clear basis: she combines teamwide healing and debuff removal with repeated follow-up attacks and Break support. But “best healer” is not an established universal ranking; whether she is the right sustain depends on your team and the content you play.
What the Version 2.5 leak claimed
A July 29, 2024 post in the leaks community attributed Lingsha’s purported kit to Dim and described her as a five-star Fire/Abundance character. That was beta-era community material, not an official HoYoverse announcement. HoYoverse later scheduled its Version 2.5 Special Program for August 30, 2024, with character introductions including Lingsha (July 29 leak discussion; official Version 2.5 announcement, August 26, 2024).
The leak’s “best healer” framing was a prediction, not a demonstrated comparison. A later HoYoLAB community guide, published October 3, 2024, describes the released kit and helps explain why players might value her, but it does not establish a ranking against every sustain character.
How Lingsha’s healing and damage work together
Skill: area damage and team healing
Lingsha’s skill deals damage to all enemies and heals all allies. This gives her a way to contribute offense while providing broad recovery rather than directing her healing at only one target.

Fuyuan: follow-up attacks, healing, and debuff removal
Her summon, Fuyuan, attacks all enemies with a follow-up attack when it acts. That action also heals all allies and dispels one debuff from each ally. The repeated combination of damage, team healing, and cleansing is central to the case for her as a versatile sustain.
Ultimate: healing, Break support, and Fuyuan action advance
Lingsha’s ultimate damages all enemies, heals all allies, applies Befog to increase the Break damage enemies take, and advances Fuyuan’s action. The result is a kit that supports the team defensively while also helping it deal damage, especially when Break mechanics are part of the plan. Why the “best healer” claim depends on the team
Lingsha has a strong argument as a Break-team sustain because her kit pairs healing with Break-oriented utility and follow-up damage. Her broad healing and debuff removal can also be useful outside that niche. Those qualities make her a plausible high-value option, but they do not settle who is best across every roster, encounter, and game mode.

To decide whether she is better for your account than another sustain, weigh the job your team needs her to do:

- Recovery: Consider how often your team needs healing across all allies and whether it needs emergency recovery at a particular moment.
- Debuffs: Account for the value of Fuyuan removing one debuff from each ally when it acts, including whether that timing matches the encounter’s threats.
- Damage and Break utility: Her follow-up attacks add damage, while Befog increases enemies’ Break damage taken. This is especially relevant when your team is built to exploit Break.
- Action economy and skill points: Compare how her rotation fits your team’s actions and skill-point needs. The guide’s kit summary alone does not quantify her skill-point demands against other sustains.
- Roster and content: The best fit depends on the characters you already own and the mode or encounter you are trying to clear.
The October 3 guide’s author, community contributor Nameless ✪, calls her steady flow of damage and healing “an excellent investment and addition to the roster.” That is the author’s assessment, not an official HoYoverse verdict or a controlled comparison.

The leak explains why Lingsha’s kit drew attention before release, and the later guide documents the healing, cleansing, follow-up damage, and Break utility behind that interest. Neither source supplies a controlled comparison with all other healers, a current ranking, or performance statistics that prove she is the best. Treat the original claim as a plausible, conditional prediction rather than a settled result.
