It follows “A Cleansing of Gold” and ends after you defeat Nikador and speak with Mem back in Okhema.
Mission details and unlock requirements
The mission takes place around Strife Ruins, Castrum Kremnos, and was released in Version 3.0. The community-maintained mission page says it begins automatically after “A Cleansing of Gold.” Game8 additionally lists Trailblaze Level 34 as a requirement; that level gate is reported by Game8, rather than the mission page.
The mission page lists Trailblaze EXP, Stellar Jade, and Credits among the in-game rewards. The route below follows the puzzle sequence described by Beebom’s walkthrough, published January 15, 2025; names and mechanics refer to the mission as presented in-game.
Walkthrough: from the first path to Castrum Kremnos
Clear the opening route
- Use the Miracle Orb and the ball holder above it to send the ball through the crates blocking the way.
- Follow the mission marker and give Mem the Bard’s Memory Fragment, Chartonus’ Memory Fragment, and Damionis’ Memory Fragment.
Enter Kremnos of yesteryear
- Once you arrive, inspect the surroundings so you know which era you are in.
- Read the nearby scroll, speak with the weapon merchant, and buy any one weapon. Let Castorice inspect it, then meet Gnaeus at the main entrance.
The walkthrough describes buying an in-game weapon as part of this sequence; it does not require buying a real-world item.

Ignite the first fire pit
- Complete the Prophecy Tablet on the left. It creates a Concrete ball and lights the first brazier.
- Repair the broken pillar and activate Oronyx’s Prayer.
- Go up the first set of stairs on the right. Rewind time to return the ball to its holder, redirect the holder, and strike the ball to clear the blocks.
- Use the ball holder on the upper floor to light the second brazier and open the next area.
Break through with the Hand of Zagreus
Use the Hand of Zagreus to punch through the crates. Coins of Whimsy along the way are optional. Continue until you hear the strange voice, then wait in the corner: the merchant will appear stealing weapons from corpses. Once the scene is over, proceed.
Ignite the second fire-pit trial
- Strike the holder above the left stairs to put a ball on the first pressure plate.
- Switch Space-Time to Evernight. Use the left Miracle Orb to repair the bridge, then the right Miracle Orb to clear the blue blocks.
- Cross to the other holder and strike it so the ball reaches the second fire pit.
- Switch back to Dawn. Use the left Miracle Orb to make the ball reappear and open the door.
Speak with the spirits and cross the prophecy bridge
- Talk to Chryseus Leo, then use Castorice’s help to communicate with the Wandering Spirits.
- Complete the Prophecy Tablet to create a bridge and continue through the dialogue.
- Prepare for a Furiae Praetor fight. Beebom’s walkthrough describes this enemy as having an immortal body like Nikador’s.
Restore the four statues for the soul-forging ceremony
The ceremony requires restoring four statues and moving missing vessels into place with the Hand of Zagreus to form a bridge. The statues represent sealing Courage, Honor, Tenacity, and Sacrifice into sword vessels.

- Use Oronyx and the Miracle Orbs to move between Dawn and Evernight as needed to reach and restore the statues.
- Use the Hand of Zagreus to move the missing vessels and complete the bridge.
- At the center, speak with Gnaeus to see the reveal: he is Nikador’s Reason.
Defeat Nikador and finish the mission
The final major encounter is against Nikador in his restored Strife Titan form. After the battle, return to Okhema and go to the personal bath chamber. Speak with Mem there to complete the mission.

The mission page’s change history notes that optional puzzle-skip steps were added in Version 3.2 for three mission sections. An in-game skip may therefore be available for some puzzles, but the history does not indicate that every puzzle can be bypassed. If you are stuck, check the in-game prompt at the relevant section rather than assuming a skip is available throughout.
