A September 3, 2024 report said Sunday and Tingyun were rumored for Honkai: Star Rail Version 2.7’s five-star banners, with Sunday in the first phase and Tingyun in the second. The report attributed the claim to leaker “Uncle G7TDD8tv” and stressed that the schedule was unconfirmed and could change. This is a historical rumor, not a current banner schedule.
Which characters did the Version 2.7 rumor name?
Juxia’s September 3, 2024 article, “Honkai: Star Rail Leak Uncovers Rumored 5-Star Banner Characters”, reported two rumored five-star characters: Sunday and Tingyun. It attributed the information to “Uncle G7TDD8tv.”
| Rumored phase | Character | Reported path and element |
|---|---|---|
| First | Sunday | Harmony and Imaginary, according to Juxia’s September 3, 2024 report |
| Second | Tingyun | Nihility and Fire, according to Juxia’s September 3, 2024 report |
The phase order, paths, and elements above are leak claims reported by Juxia, not official banner information. The article explicitly said the schedule had not been officially confirmed and could change.
Was this the confirmed Version 2.7 lineup?
No official Version 2.7 banner notice is established by the sources available here, so the reported rumor cannot be treated as confirmation of the finalized historical lineup. The distinction matters: a leak report can describe what was expected at the time without proving what ultimately appeared in-game.
Is Version 2.7 an upcoming update?
No. This report dates to 2024 and is not a current banner update. For context, HoYoverse’s Version 4.6 announcement in September 2026 said that update would release on September 28, 2026. The announcement lists PC, iOS, Android, Epic Games Store, and PS5 as platforms. Those later-version details date the old rumor; they do not validate the Version 2.7 claims.
Banner availability changes over time. To check what can be pulled now, use the in-game Warp notices rather than relying on a 2024 leak or a third-party schedule tracker.
