HoYoverse set maintenance to begin at 06:00 UTC+8 and estimated it would take approximately five hours. That countdown has expired; the date and maintenance window below are historical.
When did Honkai: Star Rail Version 3.2 come out?
HoYoverse announced April 9, 2025, as the release date for Version 3.2 in its Version 3.2 Special Program announcement.
What time did Version 3.2 maintenance start and end?
The official Version 3.2 Update and Maintenance Notice scheduled maintenance to begin at 06:00 on April 9, 2025 (UTC+8). HoYoverse said, “The update will take approximately 5 hours.” That estimate implies maintenance would end around 11:00 UTC+8, but it was not a guarantee of the actual server reopening time.
What was the release time in UTC?
The scheduled 06:00 UTC+8 start converts to 22:00 UTC on April 8, 2025. The estimated maintenance end converts to approximately 03:00 UTC on April 9. This is why the maintenance appeared to start on April 8 in some locations even though the official schedule gave April 9.

Is the countdown timer still active?
No. Version 3.2’s release is in the past, so a live countdown would be misleading. The relevant historical schedule is April 9, 2025, at 06:00 UTC+8 for the start of maintenance, with an approximate five-hour duration.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. How should you read the scheduled time?
Use UTC+8 as the source schedule’s reference, then convert it to your location if needed. The date can differ across time zones, and the listed end time is only an estimate. The cited notices establish the announced release date and maintenance schedule, not the exact time every server became available.
