YouTube generally finalizes a completed month’s earnings between the 7th and 12th of the following month. That published monthly schedule also applies as the best-supported expectation for a 24/7 livestream: YouTube does not publish a separate finalization timetable for continuous streams. Finalization is when earnings are added to your AdSense for YouTube balance, not when money necessarily reaches your bank.
When to expect finalized livestream earnings
Revenue earned during a calendar month is initially shown as estimated earnings. After that month ends, YouTube says the finalized amount is added to AdSense for YouTube between the 7th and 12th of the next month. For example, earnings generated in June are generally finalized and posted between July 7 and 12. YouTube’s partner earnings overview and its payment-process guidance describe this general monthly cycle.
The guidance covers YouTube earnings generally; it does not promise a different or faster schedule for a stream that runs continuously, or set a separate schedule for gaming livestreams. Applying the usual monthly cycle to livestream revenue is the clearest supported expectation, not a special 24/7-stream guarantee.
Estimated earnings are not the finalized balance
The amount shown as an estimate in YouTube Analytics can change before finalization. YouTube identifies invalid traffic, Content ID claims or disputes, and certain types of ad campaigns as reasons earnings may be adjusted. Applicable tax withholding can also affect the final amount. YouTube does not publish a standard adjustment percentage for 24/7 livestreams, so an estimate alone cannot predict the finalized balance. See YouTube’s explanation of partner earnings.

Google explains this in its guidance on the difference between earnings and payments.
Finalization and payout are separate dates
The 7th–12th window is when finalized earnings are added to AdSense for YouTube. It is not a promise that the funds will be deposited in that window. YouTube says payments are generally issued between the 21st and 26th of the month if the account meets its applicable payment threshold and has no payment holds. The exact cash-arrival date can depend on payment method and account details. YouTube’s payment-process guidance describes the distinction.
Where to check the amount
AdSense for YouTube
Check the balance or Payments area in AdSense for YouTube for the finalized earnings. YouTube says this is where finalized earnings first appear, between the 7th and 12th. If you are checking whether payment is on track, also review the account’s payment information for threshold status or holds.
YouTube Studio
For revenue reporting in YouTube Studio, open Analytics > Revenue. The report can show revenue at video level, and YouTube says finalized earnings appear in Analytics after they are added to AdSense, typically in the same 7th–12th window. Menu labels or availability can vary by device; the desktop analytics guidance is at Get started with YouTube Analytics, and YouTube’s revenue-check instructions are at Check your YouTube revenue.
What to do if the earnings are missing
- Before the 12th: The normal posting window may still be in progress. Check AdSense for YouTube again during the stated window.
- After the 12th: Review the AdSense for YouTube balance and Payments information, then check Studio’s Analytics > Revenue report. If the finalized amount still is not visible, contact YouTube support rather than assuming a particular adjustment or delay cause.
- If the balance is posted but payment has not arrived: Check whether the applicable payment threshold has been met and whether the account has a payment hold. The finalization window and the later payment-issue window are different stages.
Keeping a 24/7 stream online is a separate issue
A streaming setup does not change YouTube’s earnings-finalization schedule. If you use uploaded videos for a continuous YouTube stream and want the stream to keep running without leaving a computer on, StreamNeo is a cloud service that loops uploaded videos to YouTube after you upload a recording or playlist and add your YouTube stream key. It can help with stream continuity, but it does not guarantee monetization or change when YouTube finalizes earnings. Try StreamNeo’s first free day without a card.
