A full day-and-night cycle in Adopt Me is reported to take 10 real-life minutes: seven minutes of daytime followed by three minutes of nighttime. The timing comes from a third-party schedule, not an official Adopt Me duration announcement.
How the Adopt Me day-and-night cycle is timed
According to the Adopt Me Trading Values task order schedule, each cycle starts when the real-world clock reaches a time ending in :00, :10, :20, :30, :40 or :50. The schedule reports seven minutes of daytime, then three minutes of nighttime.

When does night start in Adopt Me?
If the reported schedule is followed, nighttime begins seven minutes after a cycle starts. For example, a cycle starting at 2:10 would reach nighttime at about 2:17, with the next cycle beginning at 2:20. These are real-clock times derived from the published schedule.
Is the 10-minute timing officially confirmed?
Adopt Me’s official Pet Needs Revamp release notes refer to players rejoining within the same Day/Night cycle, confirming that the game uses such a cycle. The article does not give its duration. The 10-minute total and 7/3 split should therefore be treated as a third-party schedule’s report rather than an official developer-confirmed figure.

Roblox experiences can configure their own lighting and time behavior. Roblox Creator Hub’s Lighting TimeOfDay documentation describes a configurable property and example cycle; it does not establish Adopt Me’s specific schedule. For this question, the reported Adopt Me timing is the relevant figure, with the third-party attribution caveat above.
