How long does it take to beat Little Nightmares III?
TechRadar reviewer Cat Bussell reported finishing the game in “circa. 8 hours” on Xbox Series S with an Xbox Wireless Controller. That is the clearest published completion figure available, but it describes one person’s playthrough—not an average across players or a promise of how long your run will take. TechRadar’s review does not give a separate completionist time or a solo-versus-co-op comparison.

How many chapters are in the campaign?
PC Gamer describes Little Nightmares III as having four chapters; TechRadar refers to four acts. Neither review provides a time estimate for each part, so there is no sourced basis for dividing the eight-hour playthrough into chapter-by-chapter runtimes. PC Gamer’s review discusses the game’s traversal, puzzles, tools, and online co-op but does not report a total completion time.

Does solo or co-op change the time?
The game stars Low and Alone, who use a bow and wrench respectively, and supports solo play as well as online co-op. The sources do not establish whether playing with a partner makes the campaign faster or slower, so the eight-hour report should not be treated as a comparative estimate for either mode. Bandai Namco’s game page identifies the characters and their distinctive items.
Bandai Namco’s Q&A says a second player can join online through Friend’s Pass when one player owns the full game, on the same platform. A co-op save must continue with the same two players, and solo and co-op cannot be switched within the same save. Does the eight-hour estimate include DLC?
No: keep the estimate separate from expansion content. Bandai Namco’s Q&A describes two additional chapters as DLC and gives release windows, but the cited sources do not state how long either chapter takes. The base-game completion report cannot be used to infer an expanded total.
