In Aion 2, Manastones add rolled stats to weapon and armor slots. The useful choice is not simply “the highest stat”: the available pool and values vary by stone, and the right priority depends on your activity, role, and how long you expect to keep the item. Manastones are not interchangeable with Soulstones for accessories or Theostones for their separate weapon system.
How Manastone stats are rolled
Each Manastone row resolves in two stages: first a stat is selected, then that stat’s quality is rolled. Rows are independent, so equipment with several rows can receive different stats—or repeat the same stat. The odds and values are tied to the stone variant and grade; they are not universal percentages that apply to every Manastone.
The ordinary core pool described by the Xtopolis Manastone guide includes Attack, Defense, Accuracy Bonus, Evasion Bonus, Critical Hit, Critical Hit Resist, Block, HP, and MP. Superior stones add damage-related lines. Abyssal stones include PvP stats and alter the chances of PvE lines. Check the specific stone rather than assuming every grade has the same pool.
What the published odds and values mean
The examples below describe two different stones from different sources. They should not be combined into one generic odds table: the first is a Superior Manastone example in a community guide; the second is an Intermediate Abyssal Manastone entry in the AION 2 Global database.

For the guide’s Superior example, the chance of getting exactly Basic Attack is 5%: the 10% chance to select Attack multiplied by the 50% chance of Basic quality. That calculation applies only to that example’s stated stages and odds. It does not establish the chance for another stone or for all rows on a piece of equipment.
Which Manastone stats should you choose?
There is no supported universal best-stat ranking for every class and activity. Decide from the content you play and the job your character needs to do, then compare the options actually available on the stone. The following is a decision framework, not a class-specific best-in-slot prescription.

Choose for PvE or PvP
If the build is for PvP, consider an Abyssal stone’s PvP lines alongside its PvE options. For a PvE-focused build, weigh the ordinary non-PvP pool and any relevant damage or defensive stats instead. An Abyssal label alone does not make a stone the right choice for every activity; its individual pool matters.
Balance damage, survival, and utility
Attack and damage-related lines compete with defensive or utility options such as Defense, HP, Block, Accuracy Bonus, and Evasion Bonus. Which trade-off helps depends on the character’s role, the encounter, and the rest of the build. A community guide’s preference for certain damage-related lines is creator advice, not an official class-by-class balance rule. Treat it as a starting point for comparison, not a prescription.

Consider grade and how long you will keep the gear
Grades can differ in both potential quality and available stats. Compare the exact variant’s possible outcomes and the value of the item it will improve. A high-end roll can be poor resource use if the equipment is about to be replaced.
Do Manastones transfer when you replace gear?
The current community guides say socketed Manastones do not survive gear transfer or extraction. In practice, treat a socketed stone as an investment in that particular item: avoid spending heavily on temporary leveling gear, and save valuable stones for equipment you expect to keep. This is the reported behavior in the guides, rather than an official English rules page verified here; check the live client if a patch changes the system.

Manastones, Soulstones, and Theostones are different systems
Use the item family intended for the slot. The Codexgames guide distinguishes Manastones for weapon and armor slots, Soulstones for accessories or jewelry, and Theostones as a separate system with one per weapon according to that guide. They are not substitutes for one another.
