There is no official published total for how many copies of each pet Adopt Me! players own. The official Pets catalog lists names, but it does not show player inventory totals. If you mean how many different pets exist, the catalog can help—but first decide whether your count includes eggs and variants, which also appear in its entries.
What “how many” can mean
The question has two different answers depending on what you want to count:
- Different catalog entries: The official Adopt Me! Pets catalog is a live reference for named entries, with search and rarity sorting. It includes eggs as well as pet names, so counting every entry does not automatically give the number of pet species.
- Copies owned by players: The catalog does not report how many copies of each pet players hold. A total would require a defined inventory dataset and a date.
For a useful catalog count, state whether you include eggs and variants, how you handle duplicate names or forms, and when you checked the page. The official catalog is suitable for checking names, not for estimating player inventories.
What official updates can—and cannot—tell you
Dated update notes verify selected releases, costs, rarities, and reward odds. Those figures describe how pets were added or could be obtained; they are not counts of pets in existence or in players’ inventories.

Pet Releaser, February 20, 2026
The Pet Releaser changes notes list Dire Wolf for 3,000 Tickets (Ultra Rare) and Giant Panda for 2,000,000 Tickets (Legendary), with the Giant Panda scheduled to leave on March 6. The Basic Egg and Crystal Egg tables in the update give reward probabilities, not figures for how many copies players own.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. Why egg odds do not reveal pet totals
An egg’s published chance tells you the probability of a reward under the stated game mechanics. It does not say how many eggs players opened, whether a pet remains obtainable, or how many copies are in inventories. For the same reason, release prices, rarity labels, and removal dates cannot be used to calculate the number of copies owned.

To answer a player-inventory question accurately, a source would need to define the population being measured, provide inventory data for that population, and give the date of collection. Without that, any per-pet ownership number would be an estimate rather than an official total.
