For the tested Beelink EQi13 Pro setup, YouTube playback drew 32–34.3 watts at the wall. Running it continuously at that measured rate would use about 280–300 kWh a year. To estimate your electricity cost, multiply that annual use by the price per kWh on your bill. This is a playback estimate, not a measurement of broadcasting a live stream.
What the Beelink EQi13 Pro test measured
CNX Software measured a Beelink EQi13 Pro at 32–34.3 W while playing YouTube video at 8K/60 in Firefox, using a wall power meter. The tested setup also included Wi-Fi 6, a USB RF keyboard-and-mouse dongle, and a GAOMON PD2200 pen display connected over HDMI. Treat the result as a measurement of that model and setup, not a universal figure for Beelink mini PCs or a bare-PC lab result. CNX Software’s 2025 test
The useful input is measured average wall draw during playback, not the maximum wattage printed on the power adapter. A different Beelink model, browser, video resolution, display, or peripheral setup can use a different amount of power.

Annual kWh = average watts × 8.76
Applying it to the test’s 32–34.3 W playback range gives approximately 280–300 kWh for a full year of continuous operation. That annual total is calculated from CNX Software’s measured power range; it is not a separate year-long measurement.
How to calculate your annual electricity cost
- Find the playback setup’s average watts. For a close estimate, use a plug-in electricity monitor to measure the complete setup at the wall while YouTube is playing under your usual conditions.
- Multiply the average watts by 8.76 to estimate annual kWh for continuous operation.
- Multiply annual kWh by your electricity price per kWh from your bill.
Annual electricity cost = annual kWh × price per kWh

Using the tested playback range, an illustrative rate of $0.15/kWh works out to about $42–$45 per year. At an illustrative $0.30/kWh, it is about $84–$90 per year. These rates are examples for the calculation, not claims about current tariffs; substitute your own rate.
Why the idle-power figure is not the playback cost
CNX Software measured 10.9–12.3 W at idle on the same EQi13 Pro, equivalent to roughly 96–108 kWh per year if left idle continuously. Do not use that lower figure to estimate a machine actively playing YouTube. The review also gives a Germany-specific idle example of approximately 100 kWh/year and approximately €40 per year at €0.40/kWh; those figures are the review’s estimate for that rate and location, not a general electricity price.

What this estimate includes—and leaves out
The estimate represents electricity use for the reviewer’s tested setup. It does not include internet service, purchase price, cooling, or other household costs. Because a connected display was present during the reported measurements, it should not be described as a measurement of an isolated mini PC without its display.
To compare mini PCs for continuous playback, measure each under the same video resolution, browser, display and peripheral conditions, then apply the same electricity rate. A wall meter can also help you measure your own complete setup; CNX Software identifies using one but does not endorse a particular meter model.

If by “stream” you mean broadcasting live
This test covers watching YouTube playback, not encoding and sending a live broadcast to YouTube. It therefore cannot establish the power use or electricity cost of a Beelink mini PC running a live stream. That estimate needs a separate wall-power measurement under the intended broadcasting workload.
