There is no verified universal XP number for the next level in Murder Mystery 2 (MM2) in the available sources. The game’s fan wiki lists XP earned for actions, but not an XP-per-level table. Check the live XP progress in your game for your current level; don’t treat match rewards as the amount needed to level up.
XP earned and XP required are different
XP earned is what the game awards for surviving, collecting coins, or completing role-specific actions. XP required is the threshold to move from your current level to the next one. The Murder Mystery 2 Wiki documents several rewards, but does not provide the threshold for each level or a formula to calculate it. A secondary guide published May 11, 2026 also notes that it does not have a clean, verified XP-per-level table: Position Is Everything’s MM2 XP guide.
The Roblox listing identifies Murder Mystery 2 as an experience by @Nikilis, but does not state level thresholds or an XP reward table: Roblox’s Murder Mystery 2 listing.
What the fan wiki reports for XP rewards
The unofficial Murder Mystery 2 Wiki’s XP page, updated September 27, 2026, reports these awards. They describe XP earned through match actions, not XP needed to reach a particular level. The page says its XP material is adapted from the Fandom wiki, so treat these as community documentation rather than an official Roblox table: MM2 Wiki: XP.

| Action or result | XP the fan wiki reports |
|---|---|
| Survive as an Innocent | 5 XP per second survived |
| Fill the coin bag | 900 additional XP |
| As an Innocent, shoot the Murderer | 600 XP Hero bonus |
| Win as Sheriff | 900 XP if the Sheriff survives the round or successfully shoots the Murderer |
| Save Innocents | 320 XP for each Innocent still alive after the Sheriff shoots the Murderer; the page says this bonus is not awarded if the Sheriff does not shoot the Murderer |
| Die as Sheriff | 100 XP |
| Eliminate an Innocent as Murderer | 700 XP per elimination |
The same page says total XP can be multiplied by 1.5 if the player has the Elite Gamepass or wins. The page does not establish that this multiplier or every listed reward is an official, currently guaranteed value, so don’t use the figures to calculate a level threshold.
How to find the XP needed for your next level
- Check the live level and XP progress shown in your game. Use the in-game display for your current level rather than relying on an unsourced number from a guide.
- Note the remaining progress to the next level. If the display gives only a progress bar and not a numeric threshold, the exact XP amount is not established by that display.
- Earn XP through match actions. The award depends on your role and what happens in the round; the rewards above are not a fixed amount per match.
What happens at level 100?
The fan wiki’s Prestige page, updated September 27, 2026, says players can prestige after reaching level 100. Accepting prestige resets the normal level to 1, and the page describes Prestige X as the maximum. It does not give the cumulative XP required to reach level 100 or the XP threshold for any individual level: MM2 Wiki: Prestige.
