First make sure the relevant game and DLC data are installed, then follow the route for that game below. Bandai Namco describes the collection as a three-disc set for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, containing Dark Souls Remastered with Artorias of the Abyss, Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin with all three Crown DLCs, and Dark Souls III: The Fire Fades with Ashes of Ariandel and The Ringed City (Bandai Namco’s Trilogy page).
Dark Souls Remastered: enter Artorias of the Abyss
To open the route to Artorias of the Abyss, complete these steps in order, as described in FromSoftware’s FAQ:
- Defeat the Hydra in Darkroot Basin.
- Defeat the brown crystal golem in Darkroot Basin and rescue Dusk of Oolacile.
- Defeat the crystal golem in the Duke’s Archives and obtain the Broken Pendant. The golem drops the pendant only if the DLC is owned.
- Return to the lake where you defeated the Hydra and examine the black fog.
If you rescued Dusk before buying the DLC, you can begin with the Duke’s Archives step.
Dark Souls II: enter the three Crown DLCs
Speak to Vendrick in the Undead Crypt. From there, each Crown expansion is entered from a different area:

The Ringed City
You can reach The Ringed City from either of two bonfires: the one that appears after you defeat Blackflame Friede, the first DLC’s boss, or the new bonfire near the Kiln of the First Flame. Both routes lead to the same destination. The Friede bonfire is an optional entry point; you do not have to finish Ashes of Ariandel to access The Ringed City. The two DLCs can be accessed independently. If either bonfire does not appear, FromSoftware advises reloading the game.

For Dark Souls III, a Season Pass purchase does not necessarily mean the DLC game data is installed. FromSoftware advises downloading the DLC from the same store where you bought the pass. You can also check the title screen: the name of any applied DLC appears in its upper-left corner (FromSoftware FAQ).
