YouTube does not document a built-in connection that turns YouTube Live chat requests into tracks in a YouTube Music queue. You can manage a YouTube Music playlist yourself, or use a documented third-party request workflow that takes commands from Twitch—but that is not the same as accepting requests in YouTube Live chat. Before putting Hindi songs on a public stream, confirm that you have the rights to broadcast them; a YouTube Music subscription or a viewer request does not grant those rights.
Can viewers request songs in YouTube Live chat?
Not through a YouTube Music integration documented in the YouTube help pages cited here. YouTube Music supports playlists and queue management, while YouTube Live provides a separate broadcast and live chat. The available documentation does not describe a native path that takes a message from YouTube Live chat and adds the requested song to YouTube Music playback. See YouTube’s live-streaming guidance and YouTube Music’s playlist guidance.
That distinction matters: a playlist you arrange as the channel operator is not a viewer-controlled request queue. Do not install a tool expecting it to read YouTube Live chat unless its current documentation explicitly supports that source and the playback app you intend to use.
What the documented request-tool option does
YouTube Music Streamer documents a different arrangement: viewers submit requests using a configured Twitch command, and the tool asks YTMDesktop to play queued tracks. Its documentation describes queue controls and a blacklist for moderation, but it does not establish that the tool accepts requests from YouTube Live chat. See YouTube Music Streamer’s documentation.

| Setup | Where requests originate | Playback and moderation | What is established |
|---|---|---|---|
| Creator-managed playlist | No viewer request integration is documented; the channel operator edits the playlist | YouTube Music playlist ordering | YouTube Music supports adding songs and editing playlist order |
| YouTube Music Streamer | Twitch command | YTMDesktop playback; documented queue controls and blacklist | The cited documentation describes this Twitch-based workflow, not YouTube Live chat intake |
| YouTube Live chat to YouTube Music | YouTube Live chat | A compatible chat-to-player connection would be required | No such integration is established by the cited documentation |
Hindi track availability, Hindi-specific filters, and a verified YouTube Live chat adapter are not established here. Check the current tool documentation and test the full request-to-playback route before inviting viewers to use it.
Check your channel’s live-stream eligibility
YouTube says a channel must be verified and must not have had a live-streaming restriction in the preceding 90 days. For a first live stream, YouTube for Artists advises enabling the feature and verifying the account at least 24 hours before going live. Check your current status and labels in YouTube Studio, since eligibility and interface details can change. See YouTube’s live-streaming setup guidance and YouTube for Artists’ live-streaming guidance.

Set up a creator-managed Hindi music stream
- Confirm eligibility in YouTube Studio. Verify the channel, check that live streaming is available, and allow the first-time activation period before the planned broadcast.
- Choose a broadcast method. YouTube lists mobile, webcam, encoder, and console options. For a designed music broadcast with overlays and computer-based playback, investigate the encoder workflow; the cited YouTube guidance does not require or endorse a particular encoder.
- Build the playlist in YouTube Music. Add tracks you intend to play and put them in the desired order. This is creator-managed sequencing, not a live-chat request system.
- Connect the broadcast and playback path. Follow YouTube Studio’s current live setup instructions for the selected broadcast method. Confirm that the audio being broadcast is the intended player output and that the video and audio behave as expected.
- Test privately before launch. Run the complete playback and broadcast path in an unlisted stream, as YouTube for Artists advises for music streams generally. Verify what viewers can hear and see before sharing the public link.
Clear music rights before you go live
A request queue does not clear a track for public rebroadcast. YouTube says live streams are scanned for matches to third-party content. Detection can result in a warning, interruption, or termination. YouTube for Artists recommends coordinating with a label or distributor when using copyright-protected music; even if you have a license, the rights owner may need to allowlist your channel through Content ID to prevent interruptions. Read YouTube’s live-stream copyright guidance and YouTube for Artists’ guidance before broadcasting.
- Confirm that your permission covers public live streaming of each recording, not merely personal listening or access through a music subscription.
- Ask the rights owner or representative whether your channel needs Content ID allowlisting.
- Do not automatically play a viewer’s request until you have checked that the requested recording is cleared for the broadcast.
What to test—and what is not established for 24/7 operation
The cited YouTube setup and rights guidance does not establish a maximum continuous stream duration, archive behavior after a particular number of hours, or a guaranteed always-on procedure. It also does not establish that a Hindi track will be available in every playback setup. Test the complete chain—request intake if used, moderation, playback, and broadcast—before relying on it, and do not promise viewers uninterrupted operation based on these sources.
