Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute2Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors3Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesTo show a station logo and program schedule during a YouTube livestream, add them as graphic layers to the video scene sent by your encoder. Separately, schedule the event in YouTube Studio so viewers can find its watch page and request a reminder. The graphics appear in the broadcast picture; the scheduled event appears on YouTube.
Prepare a logo and schedule that fit the stream
Make a transparent logo image and a schedule graphic sized for your stream canvas. Keep the station name and program text readable on a phone screen. Place graphics where they do not obscure important video, captions, or YouTube player controls. These are practical design choices rather than YouTube-published requirements.
Decide whether the schedule should be a static panel or a changing “now/next” display. A static panel can be a single graphic. Automatically updating program information needs a suitable data source or production system; YouTube’s encoder guidance does not specify how to build that integration.
Add the graphics to the outgoing video
- Open your encoder and select the scene or layout you will send to YouTube. YouTube describes encoders as tools for sending a live stream, and encoder capabilities and controls vary. There is no universal menu path for adding graphics.
- Add the logo as an image or graphic source. Position it inside the video frame, then check the encoder preview.
- Add the schedule as another image or text/graphics layer. Resize and position it so the information remains legible without covering essential content.
- Check the complete composition. Confirm that both elements fit the intended frame and remain visible in the encoder preview. If the schedule changes, update its graphic or source and check the preview again.
You can use software or a graphics-capable hardware encoder. YouTube’s encoder directory describes the AJA HELO Plus as one example with logo/layout graphics and scheduled prerecorded-media playback. That example does not establish that this device is necessary, suitable for every station, or compatible with every workflow.

- Read Before You Buy — No Video Output: These adapters support charging and USB 2.0 data transfer, but cannot transmit video signals. Except for standard USB webcams (which use USB data only), they are not compatible with HDMI/DisplayPort cables, video-capable USB-C hubs, or docking stations with video output.
- Convert USB-A Ports to USB-C: Designed to connect USB-C earphones, cables, flash drives, card readers, and other USB-C accessories to standard USB-A ports. Plug-and-play with no drivers or software required.
- Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
Schedule the livestream in YouTube Studio
- In YouTube Studio, open Go Live, select Manage, and choose the option to schedule a stream.
- Enter the event details, including its title, description, privacy setting, date, and time. Check the time zone as well as the date and start time before saving.
- Use the server URL and stream key shown in YouTube Studio to connect your encoder. Treat the stream key like a password: do not show it in an overlay, screenshot, or public instructions.
- Share the event’s watch-page URL with listeners. YouTube says scheduling can create a shareable watch page where viewers can see the upcoming stream and request a reminder.
For YouTube’s instructions on connecting an encoder, see its encoder setup guide. The exact controls for entering the URL and key depend on the encoder you use.
Preview and check before going live
Set up well ahead of airtime and check the stream in YouTube’s Live Control Room before starting. Confirm that the event’s watch page is accessible and that the preview shows the intended logo and current schedule.
