Eveque is an Act 1 required boss on the main route through Spring Meadows. To make the fight manageable, target the centre of its robe, use multi-hit attacks to clear its shields, exploit its reported Ice weakness, and defeat the two Abbests it summons before returning to Eveque.
Where to find Eveque
Eveque appears on the main route through Spring Meadows. The Grand Meadow Flag is the nearest flag identified by the consulted encounter guide. The guide describes this required Act 1 fight as an introduction to shields, elemental weakness, and summoned enemies.

How to handle Eveque’s shields and weak point
Target the centre of the robe
The encounter guide identifies the centre of Eveque’s robe as its exposed weak point. Use free-aim targeting to aim there rather than treating the robe as an undifferentiated target. Free-aim weak-point targeting is one of the combat mechanics described on the official Steam listing.
Use multi-hit attacks to remove shields
Eveque can have multiple shield instances. The guide recommends multi-hit skills to strip them more efficiently than a single heavy attack. Once shields are cleared, continue attacking the weak point.

Exploit the Ice weakness and defend in real time
The encounter guide lists Ice as Eveque’s weakness and lists no resistance or absorption. Bring Ice attacks if your available skills allow it. The same guide says Eveque’s attacks lean on Ice, so Ice-resistance gear may help if you are struggling; that is guide advice, not an independently tested loadout.
For shielded swings, the guide recommends parrying. Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 combines turn-based combat with real-time actions such as dodging, parrying, and countering, as described on the Steam listing. The available encounter information does not establish exact timing cues for Eveque’s attacks, so watch the animation and adjust your timing rather than relying on a specific count.

Defeat the Abbests before focusing on Eveque
Eveque summons two Abbests. The encounter guide recommends defeating both before resuming attacks on the boss; leaving them active can add chip damage while you manage Eveque’s shields and attacks. Once the adds are gone, return to the robe’s weak point and continue using the shield-and-Ice approach.
Rewards
The encounter guide lists Colour of Lumina and Chroma Catalyst as key drops. It does not state quantities, so no amount can be confirmed here.

The detailed location, weakness, shield, add, and reward information comes chiefly from a community encounter guide whose search result reported an update on 2026-09-24; the page itself was unavailable for inspection. Game8’s surfaced result also covers Eveque’s weaknesses and combat, but did not expose its details. Treat the encounter tactics and drops above as community-guide reporting, not official developer confirmation. Steam confirms the game’s release date as 2025-04-24, but its listing does not independently verify Eveque-specific mechanics.
