Fourth Chorus is an optional-to-reach Far Fields boss: return to the central arena after getting the Drifter’s Cloak from the Seamstress. Read its glowing arm to dodge, keep track of platforms lost to slams, and use the final phase’s ceiling explosives for an optional instant defeat.
Where to find Fourth Chorus and start the fight
Fourth Chorus waits in the central arena of Far Fields. Hornet can first pass the inactive automaton, which is pinned beneath debris. After obtaining the Drifter’s Cloak from the Seamstress, return to the arena to activate the encounter. You are not locked inside and can leave if you need to regroup.
How to read its attacks
Watch the boss’s arms: the hand that glows or lifts telegraphs which attack is coming. The two main attacks require different responses, and slams can change the floor under you.

When an attack leaves an opening, strike Fourth Chorus’s head, then shift your attention back to its next arm tell. The floor is part of the fight: gaps over lava can make a familiar dodge route unsafe.

Phase changes and Rock Dance
The fight changes at specific health thresholds. Fourth Chorus staggers at each transition, then rises and roars as the next phase begins.

| 325 HP | After another stagger, the boss speeds up again. | Arm tells and platform awareness matter more as attacks come faster. |
| 200 HP | After the final stagger, both outer platforms break away and updrafts take their place. Attack speed slows, and Rock Dance leaves the attack rotation. | Use the updrafts to reach the ceiling explosives, or continue fighting normally. |
Handling Rock Dance
During the falling-rock sequence, keep enough room to move across the platforms that remain. Do not treat the waves as a pause in the rest of the fight: attacks can overlap near the end of Rock Dance.

How to finish the last phase
At 200 HP, ride either updraft toward an explosive embedded in the ceiling. Hit both explosives; doing so drops a boulder that instantly defeats Fourth Chorus. This environmental finish is optional—if you prefer not to pursue it, keep damaging the boss with ordinary attacks.
