Where to find Tyrannical Predator
The boss appears at the Savanna Experience Center and is listed as a required encounter in Overture. The expansion is a separate purchase. NEOWIZ’s June 6, 2025 launch notes say players must reach Chapter 9 and repair the Hotel Stargazer before entering the Forgotten Time. How to beat Tyrannical Predator
Control your distance and stamina
Fight from medium range, positioned to one side when possible. Staying too far away can give the boss room to rush in with its grab or tail attacks, while crowding it makes the close-range follow-ups harder to read. Keep enough stamina in reserve to guard, dodge, or reposition instead of spending the whole bar on attacks. GamingBolt recommends side positioning, medium distance, and stamina conservation.

Respond to the main attacks
- Forward grab: When the charge begins, sprint sideways, then dodge late in that direction as the jaws are about to close. Avoid backing straight away from the rush. The timing advice comes from GamerBlurb’s observed strategy; it does not establish frame-perfect timing.
- Delayed lunge: Watch for the head turn and the pause before the lunge. Wait out the delay, then dodge toward the open side rather than reacting to the first movement.
- Two-hit slam: Parry or dodge diagonally forward, then stay alert: the slam may be followed by a tail whip.
- Standing bite: GamerBlurb recommends parrying just before the bite lands. If you are not confident in that timing, prioritize a safe dodge.
- Tail spin or whip: Do not assume the attack sequence is over after a different move. The tail spin may follow other attacks, especially if you are attacking from behind; pull back or reposition rather than overcommitting.

Choose offense or defense to fit your playstyle
For elemental offense, GamerBlurb suggests a Fire Abrasive and, for an Advance-oriented setup, a Salamander Blade with Acidic Spear Handle. These are optional suggestions, not required equipment or proven optimal choices. For a more cautious approach, its guide names Aegis as a defensive option; GamingBolt’s more general advice is to guard thoughtfully and retain stamina for the next tell.
