2. Prepare your base and materials
This is a placeable base machine, not a handheld item. The basic purifier’s listed construction cost is 70 Salvaged Metal, according to Dune Awakening Game Net’s extraction from build 2118731-0. That database says the figures were not rechecked against version 1.5.3.2, so treat this as a guide rather than a guaranteed current recipe and confirm the materials in your game’s build interface. - Build inside your claimed base area.
- Have a base generator available; the community listing gives the basic purifier a 10-power demand.
- Collect blood in Blood Sacks to use as the machine’s input.
3. Place and power the purifier
- Equip the Construction Tool.
- Choose Blood Purifier from its available build options.
- Place it within your claimed base, close to a Sub-Fief Console.
- Connect or supply generator power, then check the machine’s status in-game to confirm it is powered and active.
The available item listing specifies the Construction Tool and proximity to the Sub-Fief Console, but does not establish current menu wording or key bindings. Use the labels shown by your version of the game rather than relying on a particular key.

4. Add blood and collect water
Interact with the purifier and deposit blood from your Blood Sacks. The machine filters blood into water; the Water From Blood quest flow describes researching and constructing or interacting with the purifier, depositing blood, and drinking the resulting water. The quest listing provides that sequence.
