One free scan finds every outdated or missing driver and matches the right update for your exact hardware.Free scan · exact hardware matchBuild the path with a clear public playlist of regular videos, then point viewers to it from relevant cards, end screens, your channel page and live-chat messages. For a stream-ending handoff, YouTube Live Redirect can send viewers to a Premiere or another live stream—not to an ordinary uploaded video. Plan for archive limits too: streams longer than 12 hours may not be captured automatically.
Design the viewer’s next step
A playlist funnel is a simple viewing journey: someone finds your always-on stream, sees a relevant invitation to continue, and lands on a curated set of regular videos. Make the destination match what that viewer is likely to want next—such as a game guide, lore explanations, reviews or a beginner series—rather than sending everyone to an unrelated catch-all playlist.
Choose a descriptive playlist title and order its videos so the most useful next watch appears early. Keep it public so it can be linked from YouTube’s viewer-facing surfaces. In YouTube Studio, create the playlist, add the relevant uploads, write a description that explains what viewers will find, and reorder the videos as needed. YouTube supports creating, editing and reordering playlists: Create and manage playlists.
Make the regular-video route easy to follow
Link from relevant videos with cards
Add a card where a viewer would naturally want more information, such as after a guide introduces a related topic. Cards can link to a public playlist or public video, and a video can have up to five cards. Cards are unavailable on videos marked Made for Kids. See YouTube’s cards help page for current setup details.

- Read Before You Buy — No Video Output: These adapters support charging and USB 2.0 data transfer, but cannot transmit video signals. Except for standard USB webcams (which use USB data only), they are not compatible with HDMI/DisplayPort cables, video-capable USB-C hubs, or docking stations with video output.
- Convert USB-A Ports to USB-C: Designed to connect USB-C earphones, cables, flash drives, card readers, and other USB-C accessories to standard USB-A ports. Plug-and-play with no drivers or software required.
- Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
Feature the playlist on end screens
On eligible regular uploads, use an end screen to feature the playlist or a specific next video. End screens appear during the final 5–20 seconds, and the video must be at least 25 seconds long. You can review an individual video’s end-screen element click-rate report in Analytics. YouTube documents the available elements and controls in its end screens help page.
Explain the destination on the live stream
Use the stream description, channel page and live-chat messaging to tell viewers what the playlist offers and where to find it. Keep the invitation specific: for example, tell viewers that the playlist contains the next set of walkthroughs for the game they are watching. A clear reason to click is more useful than a generic request to browse the channel.

Choose the right handoff when the stream ends
Live Redirect is for handing viewers to a Premiere or another channel’s live stream after your stream ends. YouTube does not document it as a way to redirect directly to a standard uploaded video. For an evergreen route into videos that are already published, link to the public playlist through relevant cards and end screens instead.
YouTube lists more than 1,000 subscribers and no Community Guidelines strikes as eligibility requirements for the channel sending a Live Redirect. To redirect viewers to another channel, that channel must allow the redirect. Setup is in YouTube Studio in the live video’s customization and redirect settings. YouTube’s Live Redirect instructions describe the feature and controls.

A Premiere can serve as a scheduled, event-style bridge after a stream, but it is still a Premiere—not a direct link to an ordinary video. YouTube’s current live-stream comparison lists Live Redirect for horizontal streams, not vertical live feeds; check the current Studio controls and eligibility before planning around the feature. See YouTube’s live-streaming overview.
Protect and organize stream archives
YouTube says streams are automatically uploaded as archives by default and recommends organizing archives and highlights into playlists. Its guidance says streams under 12 hours can be automatically archived and warns that streams longer than 12 hours may not be captured. A continuous 24/7 feed therefore is not a dependable substitute for preserving shorter sessions or local recordings. Keep a local backup, and publish usable segments or highlights separately when that fits your workflow.

Consider keeping the live archive playlist distinct from the playlist that points viewers to polished regular videos. That way the next step is clear, while archives and highlight clips remain organized. Consult YouTube’s guidance on live stream archives and playlist management for current details.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone.Use a series playlist only for a genuine series
A series playlist identifies an official set of videos intended to be watched together; it is not just a stronger label for any playlist funnel. YouTube says this information may affect how the videos are presented or discovered. A verified account is required, each video can be in only one series playlist, and you may add only videos you uploaded and have rights to. Use the setting only when the videos genuinely form a series. Details are in YouTube’s series playlist help page.

Measure activity without overstating what it means
Check end-screen element click rate on the videos where you feature the playlist. Playlist Analytics provides data only for public playlists that received views during the selected reporting period. These figures can tell you whether viewers used those documented surfaces and whether a public playlist received activity; they do not by themselves prove that the funnel caused overall channel growth. YouTube explains playlist reporting in Playlist Analytics.
Common problems and fixes
- Viewers land on the wrong content: Revisit the playlist’s topic, title, description and order. Link each card or end screen from a video whose audience has a clear reason to continue into that playlist.
- The card or end-screen option is unavailable: Check the relevant constraints. Cards are not available on Made for Kids videos. End screens require a video at least 25 seconds long and appear in its final 5–20 seconds.
- Live Redirect does not offer the regular video you want: That is not a documented destination for the feature. Use a public playlist link on appropriate videos and channel surfaces; use Redirect only for an eligible Premiere or another live stream.
- A long live archive is missing: YouTube warns that streams longer than 12 hours may not be captured automatically. Preserve local recordings and plan shorter sessions or separate highlight uploads if you need dependable replay material.
- Playlist Analytics shows no data: Confirm the playlist is public and received views in the selected reporting period, the conditions YouTube specifies for playlist reporting.
Or let it run in the cloud
If the 24/7 stream itself is the part you want off your home setup, StreamNeo keeps an uploaded-video stream running to YouTube from the cloud: upload a recording or build a playlist, add your YouTube stream key once, and go live. Nothing has to stay on at home; each slot streams your upload as made, up to 4K 60fps, at one flat price per slot, with automatic recovery if YouTube drops the stream. The first day is free with no card, and the monthly option is $9.99 per month. Learn more at StreamNeo, or start your free day.
