Find the right LEGO set
LEGO PlayStation set 72306 is the official 1,911-piece adult set that includes the Gran Turismo diorama. The piece count applies to the complete set, not just the miniature scene. The same console also contains an Ape Escape diorama; Gran Turismo is the miniature track with scaled-down cars. LEGO says the original Gran Turismo game was released in 1997. Check the LEGO product listing for current regional availability and pricing.
Build the diorama using the official guide
The set listing says a step-by-step guide is included, and PlayStation points builders to the LEGO Builder app for interactive 3D instructions. Follow the instructions for the build rather than treating the diorama as a separately documented kit.
- Open the LEGO Builder app and find LEGO PlayStation set 72306 to use the interactive 3D instructions, or follow the step-by-step guide included with the set.
- Use the instructions to assemble the Gran Turismo miniature track and its scaled-down cars as part of the complete set.
- If you need help with instructions, consult LEGO’s official building-instructions support.
The official product information describes the scene but does not provide a separate assembly sequence for it. The diorama is one part of set 72306, so use the set’s own guide for the actual build.

Choose how to display the completed scene
The two display options are to leave the diorama concealed inside the console model or pull it out and display it separately. LEGO says the elements are customizable, so builders can adjust the scene’s elements while following the set instructions.

Check the console’s dimensions before planning shelf space
LEGO lists the complete console model as over 6 cm high, 26 cm wide and 19 cm deep. These measurements are for the console, not the extracted Gran Turismo diorama, so they cannot be used to confirm the space needed for separate display. Measure the finished diorama before selecting a shelf or display case; no compatible case size is established in the official information.
Availability and release dates
LEGO announced early access on October 1, 2026, followed by general availability on October 4, 2026. Stock and pricing vary by region and can change, so check the LEGO listing or your regional retailer for current details.
