To change your character’s face, hair, body, or other creator choices, open Settings > Customization. Guides report that applying edits may require an Appearance Change Voucher or a Quna payment; check the prompt in your own client for the current eligibility and cost. To change the look of equipped gear, use the separate wardrobe or Closet cosmetic system instead.
Choose what you want to change

These are different systems: changing character-creator settings does not change the appearance of equipped gear. Guides use terms such as Closet and transmog for gear cosmetics; the exact label can vary by client or region.
Change your character’s appearance
- Open Settings > Customization. This route is reported by a recent guide; if you do not see the option, check your character’s eligibility and the current requirements shown in-game.
- Make your changes in the character editor. NCSOFT’s November 16, 2025 announcement said AION 2 offers more than 200 customization options, including body shape, skin tone, eye color, and muscle definition, and noted that presets are available. That launch-era announcement describes the creator’s breadth, not today’s edit price or menu requirements. NCSOFT’s announcement
- Review the application prompt before confirming. A current guide reports that an Appearance Change Voucher or Quna may be used. Another guide reports a Level 10 requirement and a 600-Quna charge without a voucher, but those details are guide-specific and are not established as universal across regions or builds. - Inspect the finished appearance before applying it. The available sources do not establish an undo window or refund policy, so do not assume an edit can be reversed for free.
Change the appearance of equipped gear
For an outfit or equipment visual, open the separate wardrobe or Closet-style cosmetic interface rather than the character editor. Guides describe this as a gear appearance or transmog system, but do not establish a complete list of eligible equipment, fees, or restrictions. Do not confuse an Appearance Change Voucher for editing the character with a cosmetic item or voucher for gear. Read the exact in-game item description before using it.

Check current requirements and appearance rules
- Availability and cost: Voucher distribution can change. A guide updated September 24, 2026 notes that event windows may provide appearance tickets; check current in-game notices rather than counting on a free ticket. Appearance ticket and policy information
- Region and build: The reported Level 10 requirement and 600-Quna figure are not confirmed for every region or current client version.
- Permitted designs: NCSOFT’s AION 2 operation policy permits customization generally but prohibits some user-created or distributed appearances. It says the company may change or remove appearances and apply sanctions, so an option in the editor does not guarantee that every design is permitted. NCSOFT appearance policy
