Complete any verification EA requests and follow the prompts. EA limits changing to a new email address to once every 30 days.
Change your EA Account email address
- Open your EA Account’s Account Information page.
- Select Edit next to Email address.
- If EA asks you to verify your identity, select Send code, choose an available verification method, and enter the code you receive.
- Follow the remaining on-screen instructions to save the new address.
EA may restrict account-information edits based on local law or how recently the information was changed. Its current guidance says you can update your email address only once every 30 days. Returning to an email address previously associated with your account is exempt from that limit. Choose an inbox you expect to keep and can access; EA recommends a personal address rather than a school or work address.
If you cannot complete the change
You cannot access the old email inbox
First, contact the email provider to try to recover the mailbox. If you cannot access your EA Account or its login verification methods, use EA Help’s account-recovery process. EA says it may help to provide the account’s original email address, linked usernames such as your EA ID or console ID, and invoice numbers for purchases made through an EA platform.
You do not know which email is on the account
EA explains how to find the registered address in the EA app or on EA.com. Some PlayStation or Xbox games may also show the linked account email in their settings, but EA notes that those steps do not work for every game. See EA’s instructions for finding your account email.
