Go to camp and interact with the Magic Mirror to change an eligible character’s appearance in Baldur’s Gate 3. You can use it repeatedly, but it cannot change race, subrace, or body type, and it will not remove physical changes caused by story choices.

Larian introduced the mirror in Patch 3 and says you can use it whenever you like, as many times as you like. The official instructions do not specify platform button prompts, so use the interaction prompt displayed in your game. Larian’s Patch 3 announcement
What you can change—and what stays locked
The mirror supports changes to appearance, voice, pronouns, and nether regions. It does not let you change your character’s race, subrace, or body type. Larian’s Patch 3 announcement

Appearance changes caused by gameplay choices also remain. Larian names a hag-related eye and tadpole changes as examples; the community-maintained BG3 Wiki’s Magic Mirror entry also identifies Volo’s Ersatz Eye and the Astral-Touched Tadpole as persistent changes.

Dark Urge is a customizable playable character, so the relevant case is whether your character is eligible for the mirror; Larian’s announcement does not list Dark Urge separately among the exclusions.

What if the mirror does not offer the change you want?
The built-in mirror is the supported in-game option, but its limits are firm: it cannot edit the locked traits above or undo story-caused physical changes. Mods may appeal to players seeking changes the mirror excludes, but their safety, compatibility, and platform availability depend on the specific mod; no universal workaround is established here. Larian described Patch 8, announced April 15, 2025, as the final major patch introducing new content, while allowing for minor bug fixes. Larian’s Patch 8 announcement
