Change your skin in Lunar Client
- Launch Lunar Client and join a world or server.
- Press Right Shift to open the Cosmetic Locker. Lunar Client’s Cosmetic Locker guide identifies the in-game locker as the place to change skins during play. Its getting-started guide also associates Right Shift with opening the client’s in-game mod menu.
- Open the Skin Changer in the locker, choose the skin you want, and apply it. The locker includes skin preview options.
- Check your character’s appearance in the preview or game.
Lunar Client’s documentation does not provide a detailed sequence of controls for uploading or saving a particular skin, so the precise options may depend on the current interface. Follow the controls shown in your version rather than relying on an assumed button name.

What to do if the skin does not appear
Other players still see your previous skin
Give other players a chance to relog: Lunar Client notes that they may need to reconnect before the changed skin appears on their screens.
Your own display looks stale
First confirm that you selected and applied the intended skin. If you use Nick Hider’s Show Real Skin option, Lunar Client’s rolling changelog records a fix for that option retaining the old skin after a Skin Changer update. That entry concerns this specific interaction; it does not establish a cause for every display problem. If the issue persists, consult Lunar Client’s help center or submit a support ticket.
