There is no official Epic Games tool that gives a Fortnite account a cash valuation. More importantly, Epic’s rules prohibit selling, giving away, or trading an Epic account, and Fortnite items are licensed content—not assets Epic promises can be sold or transferred. You can review your collection and purchase history for personal reference, but neither gives you a supported resale price.
What does “worth” mean for a Fortnite account?
Three different things can be mistaken for an account’s value:

|---|---|---|---|---|

- Past spending: what you paid for V-Bucks, items, or other content. This is a spending history, not a cash-out estimate.
- Personal value: how much you care about the cosmetics, progress, or memories associated with the account. That is subjective.
- Transferable cash value: an amount another person could pay for the account and take it over. Epic’s rules do not support that transaction, and its official material does not provide a legitimate appraisal method.
Epic’s Terms of Service, Section 2 state: “You can’t sell it, give it away, trade it, or use someone else’s Epic Games Account, even if they let you.” The Terms page reports it was last updated September 10, 2026. Epic also describes in-game content as licensed, not sold, and says it does not guarantee continued access to specific content or features.
How to review your account for personal reference
If your goal is to understand what is on your account—not to set a sale price—review your collection and official account information while signed in through Epic’s own services. Keep any purchase records as a record of past spending; do not add up cosmetics and V-Bucks and present the result as the account’s resale value. Epic publishes no official account-value calculator or valuation statistics.

Why a skin list or calculator cannot establish a sale price
A list of cosmetics can describe a collection, but it cannot establish a supported cash price. Epic says cosmetics remain on the account where they were purchased, earned, or claimed; they cannot be manually transferred to another account. A limited recent-purchase return-and-rebuy possibility may apply only if the item is still in the shop and the account has an applicable option. See Epic’s item-transfer guidance for current conditions.
Likewise, third-party estimates or resale listings do not change Epic’s account-transfer rules or guarantee that a buyer can safely or permissibly take over an account. Treat claims of a definite “skin value” or cash-out amount with caution; an account’s historical spending, personal appeal, and permitted transferability are not the same thing.

Can you sell or transfer a Fortnite account?
No. Epic Support says buying, selling, and sharing accounts are not allowed, consistent with the account-transfer prohibition in the Terms. Giving someone your login or letting them use the account does not make a transfer permitted. A permanent ban may also remove access to V-Bucks, cosmetics, purchased games, and account balance, according to Epic’s ban guidance.
Quick Recap
Best Value
- An Epic Games account is required to redeem an Epic Games Store Card code
- If playing on a console platform (PlayStation Network, Xbox Live, Nintendo Switch or Mobile) you need to link your Epic Games account to that gaming platform (one time) to redeem your gift card code
- The 16 digit code on the back of the card WILL NOT work if redeemed directly through your gaming platform (PlayStation Network, Xbox Live, Nintendo Switch, Mobile, etc.)
- Note: Nintendo devices do not support Fortnite Shared Wallet, so V-Bucks purchased using your account balance will not show up on your Nintendo device. However, if you purchase items in the web Item Shop — or another platform where you play Fortnite — those items will be available in your Locker across all platforms.

How to protect your account from appraisal and currency scams
- Keep your credentials private. Do not enter your Epic login on an external appraisal, “free V-Bucks,” or suspicious-offer site, and do not let a buyer sign in. Epic warns that sharing account details can lead to compromise. Follow Epic’s account-security guidance.
- Use official V-Bucks channels only. Epic identifies in-game purchases, the Epic Games Store, the Fortnite Item Shop, and official cards from authorized retailers as purchase channels. It says unofficial V-Bucks listings are unauthorized; see Epic’s V-Bucks purchasing guidance.
- Check official support if content appears on the wrong account. Epic does not offer manual cosmetic transfers. Consult its current item-transfer instructions for any eligible return-and-rebuy option.
