Open the official Xbox Game Pass games catalog. This link is for the US catalog; if you use another region, check its local catalog and store listing.

Select Leaving soon from the catalog’s collections. Xbox lists it alongside options such as All games, Recently added, and Coming to Game Pass. Because this is a live catalog, its contents can change.

Find the game you want to check. Use the collection as a starting point, then confirm the departure date in an official announcement rather than estimating it from when the game joined the service.

Confirm the date and platform
Xbox Wire publishes dated Game Pass announcements with departure headings and title-by-title platform information. For example, its April 7, 2026 announcement used the heading “Leaving April 15” and listed platforms for each title. That is an example of the format, not a current list of departures.
Read the entry for the exact game and check its platform details. Do not assume that information for one platform or version applies to another. If the title is missing from the announcement or the date is unclear, recheck the live catalog and the title’s listing rather than treating a predicted schedule as confirmation.

Recheck before the game leaves
Check the catalog and announcement again close to the stated date, especially before planning a final play session. The cited Xbox sources do not establish a fixed notice period or guarantee that catalogs in every app, region, and platform update at the same time.

If you want to keep access after a game leaves the Game Pass library, check the current Xbox Store offer for the exact title, edition, and platform. Xbox Wire’s April 2026 announcement said members could save up to 20% on a purchase to keep playing; that dated figure does not mean every title has the same discount today. Confirm the current price and terms on the store listing before buying. Xbox’s August 6, 2020 video description also describes a member discount, but it is historical guidance, not confirmation of a current offer.
