There is no documented Fortnite feature that gives you a guaranteed date for your first-ever session. You can check when your Epic Games account was created, look up playtime separately on supported platforms, and review some in-game stats—but those are different records.
Check when your Epic Games account was created
Search the inbox for the email account you used to create your Epic Games account. Epic says its account-created notification includes the setup date. That tells you when the account was created, not necessarily when you first launched Fortnite. Epic Support says it cannot disclose the account creation date for security reasons, so the original email is the official route to find it. Check Fortnite playtime on each platform
PC: Epic Games Launcher
- Open the Epic Games Launcher and select Library.
- Switch the library to List View.
- Find Fortnite and read the time-played column.
Epic’s playtime instructions also point console players to their platform’s own interface. On PlayStation, check your profile’s Games tab for Hours Played. For Xbox and Nintendo, follow the platform-specific instructions linked from Epic’s help page. Menus can vary with platform software and account setup.
Keep platform totals separate
Epic says there is no way to check total Fortnite hours across all platforms; hours must be checked individually on each platform. The cited instructions do not guarantee that a platform counter includes every session across devices or explain how far back its history is retained. Review Fortnite’s in-game stats
From the Lobby, open the Career tab and select Stats Options to filter the available stats. Epic says to allow at least 15 minutes after a match for stats to update. Career includes some history, statistics, and progression, but Epic does not describe it as a way to find the date of your first-ever session. For a child’s recent Fortnite activity: use Time Reports
A parent or guardian can enable Time Reports in Epic account Parental Controls or from Fortnite’s main menu. Once enabled, the dashboard provides a daily breakdown and up to four weeks of activity, depending on when reports were turned on. Weekly report emails summarize the child’s Fortnite and UEFN time. This is a recent-activity tool for a child’s account, not a personal archive of all play history. Epic Games Support: What are Time Reports and where can I find them?

Can any of these tell you the exact first day you played?
Not according to the cited Epic guidance. The account-created email establishes an account setup date, while platform counters show playtime and Career shows certain stats and progression. None is documented as a universal first-session date lookup. Don’t treat the account’s age, hours played, or a career statistic as proof of when you first played Fortnite.
