Launch Cyberpunk 2077 and check the version number on the main menu. In the current layout it appears in the top-right corner; on version 1.63 or earlier, look near the bottom-left instead.
Find the version number in the main menu
- Start Cyberpunk 2077 and wait for the main menu to appear.
- Look in the top-right corner for the version number.
- If the installed game is version 1.63 or earlier, check near the bottom-left corner instead.
These locations are specified by CD PROJEKT RED’s PC support form, which lists Steam, GOG, and Epic Games Store. It currently labels version 2.31 as “Latest”; because that is a live form value rather than a dated patch announcement, consult the form for the latest listing.
What to include when reporting a problem
Give support the version number shown in the game, along with your platform or storefront and details of the issue. The developer’s form asks players to select their game version, including for visual-issue reports.
Checking a version is different from changing it
If you are trying to revert to an older build rather than identify your installed version, CD PROJEKT RED documents a 1.63 legacy option for Steam and GOG Galaxy. Its instructions say Epic Games Store offers only the latest available version. Storefront menus may change, so check the current interface if a label differs.

- Steam: Open Library, right-click Cyberpunk 2077, choose Properties, then BETAS and select the legacy option.
- GOG Galaxy: Open Manage Installation, choose Configure, then Beta Channels.
- Epic Games Store: The support article says reverting to an earlier version is not available.
CD PROJEKT RED says only the latest game version is fully supported because it contains the latest improvements, fixes, and changes. Read its legacy-version instructions before changing builds.

The cited location guidance is for the PC version, and it does not establish where the version number appears on PlayStation or Xbox. Do not assume the same corner applies on consoles; check the platform-specific support information if you need to report a console issue.
