To review a child’s activity, a parent must link an account with parent privileges and use Settings > Parental Controls. Roblox shows recent activity—not a documented lifetime total of hours played.
Check your own Roblox screen time
- Open Roblox Settings. On desktop, select the gear icon; on mobile, tap More, then Settings.
- Go to Privacy & content restrictions, then Screen time.
- Select Top experiences to see your top 20 experiences played in the last week. The screen-time graph shows your weekly time across the Roblox platform, rather than time in one experience.
The screen-time area also includes a Daily limit setting. Roblox’s Managing Screen Time instructions describe this self-service path for users aged 13 or older.
Check a child’s Roblox activity as a parent
First, link your Roblox account to the child’s account with parent privileges. Roblox explains how to do this in Parents: How to Link Your Child’s Account; linking lets a parent view and update controls from their own device.
- Open Settings in your parent account. On desktop, use the gear icon; on mobile, tap More, then Settings.
- Choose Parental Controls, then select the child’s account.
- Scroll to Screen time and select Manage.
- Use the chart for the child’s seven-day average. Open Top experiences for recent activity in individual experiences.

What the hours and activity views mean
The two views cover different things: the graph shows weekly time on Roblox overall, while Top experiences reports time in specific experiences during the last week. Roblox describes the distinction this way: “The weekly screen time reflected in the screen time graph reflects all time spent on the Roblox platform, while Top Experiences only reflects time spent in specific experiences.”
- It is not a lifetime counter. Roblox documents recent screen-time insights, not a cumulative total of all hours played on an account.
- Removed experiences may be missing. Experiences removed from Roblox do not appear in Top experiences.
- Online status is different. The Online Status and Visibility setting controls who can see whether someone is online or which experience they are currently in; it does not provide a historical playtime report. See Online Status and Visibility.
Why a parent may see different options
Parental access and controls change as a child gets older. Some controls shift to the teen, while linked parents may retain access to selected activity insights. Availability can also vary by region, so the options shown in the account are the practical guide.
