If you only want the original Bloodborne, buy the base game; if you want its expansion, The Old Hunters, compare a bundle that includes it with buying the base game and add-on separately in your regional PlayStation Store. For a physical or used copy, check the exact edition, region, condition, and whether the expansion is actually included before paying.

How to compare the cost without overbuying
- If you do not want the expansion: compare the base-game listing with bundles and choose the base game if it is the better fit. There is no need to pay extra for The Old Hunters just to get the original game.
- If you want the expansion digitally: compare the Complete Edition Bundle price with the combined price of the base game and standalone add-on in your regional store. Store prices and discounts change; there is no universally cheapest route established here.
- If you are considering a disc: confirm the edition name, region, disc condition, and whether The Old Hunters is included and usable. A label or seller description alone does not verify the contents or compatibility of a particular copy.
- Before checkout: check the final regional total and the product’s stated contents. Historical announcements establish what editions included when released, not what a current seller has in stock.
What to check on a used or physical copy
Official sources confirm that editions bundling the base game and expansion exist, but they do not verify any individual reseller listing or every regional disc-and-DLC combination. For a used copy, ask for clear photos of the case and disc, check whether any DLC code is present and unused, and confirm that the listing explicitly states the expansion is included.
