Cloud hosting does not grant permission to broadcast the music. YouTube’s live-stream terms require creators to have the necessary rights for live content worldwide, including music licensing rights from artists, record labels, publishers and other royalty participants: YouTube Livestream terms and conditions. Confirm rights for each recording and composition, the territories in which you intend to stream, and any archived content.
YouTube scans live streams for third-party content. If it detects content that remains in the stream, it may interrupt or terminate the broadcast. Choose custom cloud infrastructure when you can own operations
Google Cloud Live Stream API provides input, transcoding and live outputs. AWS documents a 24/7 live-channel architecture using its media services. These routes can suit operators who need control over encoding and outputs and can configure, monitor and maintain the pipeline. They are not turnkey promises of uninterrupted broadcasting.
For Google Cloud, the Mumbai region is `asia-south1`. Google recommends placing the input endpoint, channel and storage bucket near one another, and says those locations cannot be changed after creation. Decide the region and resource layout before creating them; see Google Cloud Live Stream API locations.

Plan for restarts, archives and live-stream eligibility
Build around Google Cloud’s 24-hour session limit
Google Cloud says a channel may need restarting after 24 hours in a running streaming state. A station intended to run continuously therefore needs an explicit restart procedure, monitoring to detect interruptions, and a way to verify the channel is live again. Cloud hosting alone does not remove this operational requirement. Check the current Google Cloud quotas and limits when designing the workflow.
Check YouTube activation and archive behavior
YouTube says enabling live streaming for the first time may take up to 24 hours, so enable it before a planned launch. YouTube also says streams under 12 hours are automatically archived. For a longer continuous stream, plan how you will preserve any material you need rather than assuming the full broadcast will be archived. Estimate the full cost—not just encoding
Compare options using the runtime and workflow you actually intend to run. Account for input, output encoding and packaging, active hours, storage, transfer or distribution, redundancy, monitoring, and any managed-service charge. Audience size is especially relevant when a workflow delivers video directly to viewers; do not apply a viewer-delivery estimate as if it were the cost of sending a single encoder stream to YouTube.
Google Cloud example: encoding and outputs
Google Cloud’s pricing example totals $1.26 per hour in `us-central1` for one 1080p input and three H.264 outputs: $0.14 for input, $0.45 for 1080p output, $0.45 for 720p output and $0.22 for 576p output. This is an example, not a Mumbai quote or a complete monthly estimate for a particular channel. Google says charges depend on active channel time and input/output resolutions and codecs, with a ten-minute minimum and minute rounding after that; it states there is no free usage tier. AWS examples include viewer delivery
AWS’s current deployment-plan page gives an illustrative estimate of $69.74 for about 1,000 viewers watching one hour of SD 540p: $2.50 for encoding and packaging plus $67.24 for distribution. Its separate estimate for approximately 100 viewers across 200 hours per month at 1080p is $3,838.69, including $904.69 for encoding and packaging and $2,934 for distribution. AWS does not state a year for these figures on the current page; both use its stated assumptions and US East (N. Virginia) pricing. They are not India quotes or YouTube-specific costs, and they are not directly comparable to Google Cloud’s encoding-and-output example.
