Start by deciding whether you’re displaying individual Batman minifigures or an assembled model such as a Batmobile or Batcave. Then measure the finished display—including its base and accessories—and compare those measurements with the case’s usable interior dimensions. A figure frame and a large model enclosure solve different problems.
Choose a case type for what you’re displaying
Use a minifigure frame or compartment case for individual figures. For a Batmobile, Batwing, Batcave, or assembled scene, look for a larger enclosure sized around the completed build. A general cabinet or shelf enclosure can work for multiple or mixed collectibles, but its shelf clearance, footprint, weight capacity, and dust coverage need to suit your actual models and room.

Measure the finished build, not just the set box
Record the model’s length, width, and height in the orientation you plan to display it. Include the base, plaque, cape, wings, or other attached parts that affect the footprint. Compare all three measurements with the case’s internal, usable space—not its outside dimensions or a retailer’s broad “fits this set” label. Allow extra room for fragile projections and for your hand if you’ll need to rearrange or remove the build.
For a concrete example, LEGO gives its completed Classic TV Series Batmobile (set 76328) dimensions as over 50 cm long, 18 cm wide, and 14 cm high. A case with an interior length of 50 cm would therefore be too short; check the exact interior configuration before ordering. LEGO’s set specifications

For minifigures, check capacity and depth
Count the figures you want to show and consider whether capes, oversized accessories, or unusual characters need more room than standard figures. Listed capacities alone do not establish that every figure will fit comfortably, so check the available depth and the placement of studs or supports.
- Small themed frame: Minifigures Display lists a Batman Movie frame for 20 figures, with an external size of 25 × 25 cm and 4.5 cm depth. Its listing describes a plexiglass front and both hanging and freestanding placement. See the Batman Movie frame listing
- Larger Batman frame: The retailer lists a frame measuring 52 × 52 cm externally, with 3.7 cm of interior depth, in 77-, 105-, or 112-figure capacities. Confirm the selected capacity and other options on the listing. See the Batman frame options
LEGO’s Minifigure Display Case 16 (5005375) is another format: it has 16 separate compartments, a transparent clasp door, stacking studs, and is described for wall or flat-surface display. Check access and where the case will sit
A front that opens or removes makes it easier to rearrange figures and retrieve a model. A more enclosed case can reduce routine dust exposure, but the opening design affects how convenient it is to use. Before mounting a case, check its mounting method, weight, fasteners, and whether your wall is suitable. For a shelf, check the whole footprint and whether the case sits securely.
The Batman frame listing above describes hanging and freestanding use. LEGO describes Case 16 as suitable for wall mounting or a flat surface. Those are product descriptions; confirm the current instructions and included hardware for the particular item you choose.

Assess protection and presentation claims
Compare whether the case is enclosed, how its panels open, what material and viewing clarity are described, and whether its background or built-in studs suit your display. LEGO’s Case 16 has separate compartments and a transparent clasp door. Its Play and Display Case – Blue (5006157) has a transparent cover and six gray baseplates arranged over two levels; its overall dimensions are about 39 × 19 × 14 cm. Some makers advertise dust or UV protection. BrickShell Cases lists an acrylic case made for set 76328 and advertises dust and UV protection; Wicked Brick advertises UV protection and dust proofing for its case for Batman Movie Collectable Minifigure Series 2 (set 71020). These are retailer claims, not independent tests or quantified protection ratings. The available specifications do not establish how much UV exposure either product blocks, so don’t treat the claims as a measured guarantee against fading. Use a set-specific listing as a starting point, not a substitute for dimensions
A maker may list a case for a particular LEGO set, which can narrow the search. For the 76328 Batmobile, BrickShell lists a case made for that set. Before ordering, confirm the internal measurements, the exact configuration, and how the model is positioned inside. “Made for” does not replace checking that the assembled build, including any base or additions, fits your chosen version.
