Celeste’s Childhood Drawings is a short exploration quest on Riven Tides. You visit three locations: a hotel room, the roof of the third Customs House, and the Quay. The hotel room is where you learn the two drawing objectives, and the other two stops are where you inspect them. Inspecting both drawings and extracting completes the quest.
Before you deploy
- Pick Riven Tides. This quest takes place on Riven Tides. The Frozen Trail update added Pendola Pass, but nothing in this quest sends you there.
- Expect exploration, not combat. Every stop is an inspect interaction. The hard part is finding the right room, roof and spool, not fighting for them.
- Plan the route through the Quay. The Quay is the last stop before extraction, so you can finish the quest without carrying anything back.
The three locations at a glance
Each stop has one shared landmark that current walkthroughs agree on. Finer details, such as exactly where an object sits in a room, differ between guides, so treat them as helpful hints rather than guarantees.
| Stop | What you inspect | Shared landmark | Detail that varies between guides |
|---|---|---|---|
| Hotel Panorama Azzurro, room 213 (second floor) | The room’s map or significant object, which reveals the two drawing objectives | Room 213 on the second floor | Destructoid places a map on the back wall; 16 Bit World describes a cabinet by the window. Not stated which is the only interactable. |
| Third Customs House, roof | The drawing on the roof | The third Customs House, counting from the south | Destructoid gives no furnishing; 16 Bit World says to look for a metal panel in a corner; one other current guide places it beside a crate. |
| The Quay, platform | The drawing on a large cable reel or spool | The reel stack near the shipping crates | Destructoid places it northeast of the crate stacks; 16 Bit World says the spool leg nearest the sea. |
Route, stop by stop
Stop 1: Hotel Panorama Azzurro, room 213
- Go to Hotel Panorama Azzurro and head to the second floor.
- Find room 213, which the objective text refers to as young Celeste’s room.
- Search the room for its map or significant object and inspect it. Walkthroughs disagree on placement, so look along the back wall first and then check the cabinet by the window.
- Inspecting this object reveals the two drawing objectives, the Customs House roof and the Quay.
Stop 2: Roof of the third Customs House
- Travel to the Customs House that is third when counting from the south.
- Go up to its roof.
- Inspect the drawing. If you have trouble spotting it, check the corners for a metal panel; a guide also places the drawing beside a crate.
Stop 3: The Quay
- Go to the Quay and head to the platform where the shipping-crate stacks are.
- Find the large cable reel or spool. The drawing sits on it.
- If the drawing is not on the first reel you check, look northeast of the crate stacks, or at the spool leg closest to the sea.
- Inspect the drawing.
Finishing the quest and extracting
When you have inspected both drawings, extract. A GameTyrant walkthrough states that there is no quest item to carry back, so you do not need to hold anything through extraction. Completing the objectives is the only requirement.
Rewards as reported
Lance gives the quest, according to the RaiderBuddy quest database. That database lists the rewards as a Lance’s Mixtape backpack charm and three Sterilized Bandages. We could not check these rewards against an official Embark quest page at the time of writing, so confirm them in your own inventory after you extract.

If a drawing does not appear
- Room 213 is not the right room. Confirm you are on the second floor of Hotel Panorama Azzurro, and check that you are in room 213 before you inspect anything.
- You are at the wrong Customs House. Count from the south. The third house from that direction is the one with the drawing.
- The reel is not in view. Walk around the entire crate stack, because the spool may sit on the far side of the platform from where you arrive.
- The quest does not advance. Make sure you inspected both drawings, not only the first one, before you extract.
Objective wording
Walkthroughs quote the objectives as “Find young Celeste’s room in Hotel Panorama Azzurro,” “find the drawing on the roof of the third Customs House,” and “find the drawing at the Quay.” Use these phrases to match your objective tracker to the steps above.
