Generate the diagnostic report code in Streamlabs Desktop

Open Streamlabs Desktop and select Settings.

Open Get Support.

Select Upload Diagnostic Report. Wait for the upload to finish and for the report code to appear.

Copy the code so you can paste it into your support request.

Submit the code with a useful support request

Open Streamlabs’ support request form and select the issue or product category that best matches your problem. The fields shown can vary by category.

Describe what is happening, when it began, and what action causes it. Include relevant platform, operating system, app-version, and system details where the form asks for them or they help explain the issue.

Paste the copied code into the form’s Diagnostic Report Code field. Streamlabs’ instructions specifically request the code, not a screenshot of it.

If Streamlabs Desktop cannot generate the report
Streamlabs documents a cache-folder link as a fallback when the normal report cannot be produced. Use the folder for your operating system:

Compress the
slobs-clientfolder if possible. -
Upload it to a file-sharing service and create a link that the support recipient can access.

Put the link in the ticket’s diagnostic field or description as directed by Streamlabs’ instructions. Confirm the recipient can access it, and share it only with the support team for the requested purpose.

A shareable link may be accessible to anyone who has it, depending on the service’s permissions. Treat the folder as support material rather than a public post.
Crash telemetry is a separate process
A standard diagnostic report code and crash telemetry are not interchangeable. Streamlabs’ crash guide describes a separate workflow: enable additional crash reporting, restart the app, and, after another crash, upload the additional information and give support the resulting filename. Follow that process when support asks for crash data; don’t assume the ordinary diagnostic code contains it.

There is no single extra checklist that applies to every support request. For example, Streamlabs’ multistream troubleshooting instructions ask for the location, when symptoms began, affected platforms, a diagnostic report, and a traceroute screenshot. Provide those extra items when the issue-specific instructions request them; they are not universal requirements for all diagnostic tickets.
