To show the same game image on both monitors, press Win+P and select Duplicate. Windows will use a display mode both screens can accept, so a lower-resolution or lower-refresh monitor may determine the result. Open Settings > System > Display afterward to check the active resolution, refresh rate, aspect ratio and image quality.
Choose the display behavior you actually want
Mirror the identical game image
Use Windows Duplicate. The same desktop and game picture appears on both displays. This is ordinary mirroring, not a wider game view.
Make one wide game image across both screens
Use a GPU spanning feature instead: AMD Eyefinity or NVIDIA Surround. These combine the monitors into one larger desktop surface. The game must accept the resulting combined resolution, and mixed monitor sizes can produce stretching, cropping or unused areas.
Play on one monitor and use the other separately
Choose Extend in Windows. The displays become independent desktop areas, and you can select the gaming monitor in the game’s display settings when that game supports it.

- Compatible with Wide Screens - To ensure compatibility with the dual monitor mount, your each monitor must meet three conditions at the same time: First, computer screens size range: 13 to 32 inches. Second, screen weight range: 4.4 to 19.8 lbs. Third, the back of the monitor screen must have VESA mounting holes with a pitch of 75x75mm or 100x100mm.
- Regarding the compatibility with desks - Your desk must meet three conditions at the same time: First, desk material: Only wooden desks are recommended, plastic or glass desks cannot be used. Second, desk thickness range: 0.59" - 3.54". Third, the bottom of the desk should not have any cross beams or panels, as this will interfere with installation. We recommend carefully checking that your desk and monitors meets all above conditions before purchasing.
- Dual C-Clamp Hold - Worried your dual monitors might wobble or slip? Our upgraded base uses a larger platform plus a dual C-clamp structure to lock the dual monitor arm firmly to your desk. Each arm safely keeps your screens steady while you type, click and game—no shaking, no sliding, just a clean and secure setup you can trust every day. It also provides Grommet Mounting installation choice, both options ensure stable and secure fixation for your 0.59" - 3.54" desk.
- Full-Motion Adjustment For Comfortable View - Pull the screen closer when you’re deep in a spreadsheet, push it back to watch videos, or rotate to portrait for coding — moving everything smoothly with just one hand. The monitor stand offers +85°/-50° tilt, ±90° swivel and 360° rotation. Raise your monitor up to 15.75″ to support a healthy sitting posture. Whether you’re working from home, gaming through the night, or switching between video calls and documents, getting the screens to your natural line of sight helps relieve neck, shoulder and back strain so you can stay focused longer with less fatigue.
- Keep Your Desk Organized: By lifting both screens off the desktop, this dual monitor stand opens up valuable space for your keyboard, notebook, docking station or a simple, clutter-free work area. Built-in cable management guides wires along the arms, keeping cords out of sight and out of the way. Enjoy a tidy, modern workstation that looks as good as it feels to use.
What different resolutions do in Duplicate mode
A duplicated signal needs a mode that both displays can accept. AMD documents an example in which a 1920×1080, 75 Hz monitor paired with a 1280×1024, 60 Hz monitor runs in Duplicate mode at 1280×1024 and 60 Hz. This is a documented example, not a guarantee for every Windows, GPU and driver combination.
The lower mode can make the higher-resolution screen look softer, add scaling, alter the apparent aspect ratio, or reduce smoothness if its normal refresh rate is higher. The exact choices Windows offers depend on the monitor EDIDs, connection hardware, GPU and driver.

Set up identical gameplay step by step
- Connect both monitors directly to the computer’s graphics outputs and turn them on.
- Press Win+P and choose Duplicate.
- Open Settings > System > Display and confirm that Windows detects both screens.
- Select each display in turn and inspect the available Display resolution and Advanced display refresh-rate settings.
- Launch the game in a display mode that Windows exposes for the duplicated desktop. If the game has its own monitor selector, choose the duplicated display arrangement rather than an unavailable native mode.
- Check both screens for sharpness, correct proportions, black bars, cropping and acceptable refresh behavior.
When spanning is the better solution
Mirroring cannot give each monitor its own native resolution: both are showing one shared output. For a panoramic view, create a display group with your GPU software instead.
AMD Eyefinity
Eyefinity treats the monitors as one surface. AMD’s example of three 1920×1080 monitors produces a 5760×1080 desktop. With different resolutions, its fit choices have distinct trade-offs:

- Expand: uses the height of the tallest display and can crop interface content.
AMD’s current instructions cover Radeon RX systems on Windows 10 and Windows 11 and warn that some games are not fully optimized for the combined resolution. AMD also recommends assigning a preferred display for a game that should run on one screen instead of in the Eyefinity group.
NVIDIA Surround
Surround similarly combines displays and lets you select a Surround resolution for games. NVIDIA notes that mixed display types and resolutions can limit the maximum combined mode to a resolution and refresh timing shared by the displays.

Common problems and what they mean
The second monitor is blank or shows “no signal”
- Return to Win+P > Duplicate and verify that Windows detects both displays in Settings > System > Display.
- Try the shared resolution and refresh rate Windows offers rather than forcing one monitor’s native mode.
- Check the GPU driver’s display controls and the physical cable or port if the display is not detected.
The image is blurry, stretched or has black bars
That usually indicates scaling or an aspect-ratio mismatch caused by the shared mode. Test another common resolution if Windows provides one; otherwise, the monitors may not have a mode that preserves native sharpness on both screens.
The game appears on only one screen
Confirm whether you selected Duplicate or Extend. In Extend mode, the game may be assigned to one monitor through its display setting. In a span setup, the game must support the combined resolution; unsupported games may fall back to one screen or reject the mode.

Spanning crops menus or distorts the picture
Change the Eyefinity fit behavior or select a different Surround mode. Mixed-resolution groups can require a choice between blank areas, stretching and cropping; no setting can make unlike panels behave as identical native surfaces.
What to compare before choosing a mode
| Goal | Windows/GPU mode | Main limitation |
|---|---|---|
| Same picture on both monitors | Windows Duplicate | One shared resolution and refresh rate; the lower capability may control it. |
| One panoramic game view | AMD Eyefinity or NVIDIA Surround | Game support, combined-resolution performance, and possible crop, stretch or blank areas. |
| Game on one screen, desktop on the other | Windows Extend | The game must let you choose its display, window mode or monitor. |
Information needed for a hardware-specific diagnosis
Generic Windows behavior cannot establish the exact result for an unnamed setup. If Duplicate does not produce an acceptable image, record the operating system version, GPU model, driver version, monitor models and native modes, connection types, and the game and its display settings. Vendor interfaces and compatibility can change, so check the current controls for that exact GPU and driver.
The Bottom Line
Use Win+P > Duplicate for the same game image on both monitors, and expect a shared mode that may be limited by the lower-resolution or lower-refresh display. Use Eyefinity or Surround only when you want one wide image, and use Extend when each screen should remain independent.
