Outdated Drivers Are Slowing You Down

A free scan shows the junk files, broken settings and background clutter dragging Windows down - then fixes them in one click.Free scan · Windows 10 & 11For smaller Tamil-song files, reduce the bitrate of your stored music library only as far as representative listening tests allow; for the live YouTube feed, use YouTube’s separate live-encoder guidance: AAC or MP3, constant bitrate (CBR), 44.1 kHz stereo, and 128 kbps stereo audio. Keep the visual simple, set the video stream to match YouTube’s live guidance for its resolution, monitor stream health, and clear the rights for every track before broadcasting.
Separate the song files from the live stream
There are two different encoding decisions. The source library is the audio you store and play. Lowering its bitrate can reduce storage needs. The live ingest feed is what your encoder sends to YouTube over RTMP or RTMPS, and it should follow YouTube’s live settings—not assumptions based on file-upload recommendations.
YouTube’s live guidance lists AAC or MP3 audio, recommends CBR, gives 128 kbps for stereo audio, and lists 44.1 kHz for stereo. Its API health guidance also names 44.1 and 48 kHz as recommended sample rates. For a straightforward stereo setup, use 44.1 kHz and 128 kbps CBR, then check YouTube’s stream-health feedback. YouTube’s live encoder settings are the relevant reference for an RTMP/RTMPS broadcast.
Do not choose Opus for an RTMP/RTMPS stream just because YouTube lists it in file-upload guidance: upload and live ingest are different workflows, and YouTube’s live guide lists AAC or MP3. YouTube also transcodes live streams into multiple playback formats for viewers, so you do not need to create separate listener-resolution versions yourself.

- Read Before You Buy — No Video Output: These adapters support charging and USB 2.0 data transfer, but cannot transmit video signals. Except for standard USB webcams (which use USB data only), they are not compatible with HDMI/DisplayPort cables, video-capable USB-C hubs, or docking stations with video output.
- Convert USB-A Ports to USB-C: Designed to connect USB-C earphones, cables, flash drives, card readers, and other USB-C accessories to standard USB-A ports. Plug-and-play with no drivers or software required.
- Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
Choose a smaller source-library bitrate by listening
For a given duration, bitrate determines the approximate audio payload size. Using decimal megabytes and ignoring small container overhead, the arithmetic is:
| Source audio bitrate | Approximate size per hour |
|---|---|
| 64 kbps | 28.8 MB |
| 96 kbps | 43.2 MB |
These are calculations from bitrate multiplied by time, not published listening-test results. A lower bitrate saves space, but there is no established Tamil-specific bitrate threshold that guarantees acceptable sound. Tamil describes a language and repertoire, not an encoding parameter; recording quality, arrangement, and listener expectations matter. Compare representative songs—such as vocal passages, percussion, and dense arrangements—before encoding the whole library.

- If your existing files are already lossy, avoid repeatedly re-encoding them at a lower bitrate; each lossy encode can discard more information.
- If you are making new source files, use one consistent library preset and inspect both the resulting size and the sound on typical songs.
- FFmpeg expresses audio bitrate in bits per second. For example, 64 kbps is 64000 bits/s and 96 kbps is 96000 bits/s; those are source-library choices, not replacements for YouTube’s live audio recommendation.
FFmpeg’s documentation describes its bitrate and audio-encoder options. Any command should be adapted to your input files, playlist, encoder build, and output setup; never expose a stream key in a public script, shared configuration, or log.
Keep the live video stream modest
A music stream with a still image or slow visualizer usually does not need a high-motion video encode. Choose a modest resolution and follow the matching live bitrate guidance rather than sending an unnecessarily large video stream. YouTube’s current H.264 live recommendations include:

Use a two-second keyframe interval; YouTube recommends two seconds and says not to exceed four seconds. These are published encoder settings, not a guarantee that your connection can sustain a broadcast. Check your real upload stability and YouTube’s stream-health information before leaving the stream unattended. YouTube’s live encoder guide gives the settings; its live-stream API documentation describes health states and diagnostics, including audio bitrate, sample-rate, and codec issues.
Prepare the continuous broadcast and its archive
A 24/7 feed needs an operational plan as well as an encode preset. Monitor YouTube’s reported stream health and have a way to restart or reconnect the encoder if the process or connection fails. Do not assume an encoder will stay healthy indefinitely.

If you need a recording, keep a local archive as a backup. YouTube says streams shorter than 12 hours can be automatically archived, while streams longer than 12 hours may not be captured at all. Its API documentation also describes completing a separate broadcast while a continuous live feed continues, which can be useful when planning archive or broadcast operations without ending the ongoing feed. See YouTube’s live-stream archiving guidance and the live-broadcast API documentation.

Encoding does not grant permission to stream a song. Before going live, secure the rights needed to use each recording and composition in a continuous live broadcast, including applicable permissions from artists, labels, publishers, and other rights participants. YouTube’s live-stream terms make the provider responsible for having the necessary rights for the live content: YouTube Terms of Service.

YouTube scans live streams for third-party copyrighted content. It may replace the stream with a placeholder, interrupt it, or terminate it. Even if you have a licence, the rights owner may need to add your channel to its allowlist for the live stream to proceed without interruption. Review YouTube’s guidance on copyright issues with live streams and confirm the specific coverage and allowlisting process with the relevant rights owner.
Creator Music is not a solution for a live music feed: YouTube says its Creator Music tracks are for long-form videos, not live streams. Permission and monetization eligibility are also different questions. YouTube’s monetization policies can exclude highly repetitive or mass-produced content; its examples include collections of songs from different artists even where the uploader has permission. Check Creator Music’s usage guidance and YouTube’s monetization policies.
