The report specifically requires a physical PS5 copy because the disc installation is used to return to version 1.000. A digital copy does not provide that disc-based reinstall step. The report does not establish compatibility with every disc revision, current system software, or every save, so treat the procedure as unverified today.
Reported steps to equip Autonetic Bondage
- Install and update the game to version 1.002. The report says to begin with the updated game so you can access New Game+ and unlock the outfit.
- Unlock Autonetic Bondage in New Game+. Progress until the outfit is obtained, and make sure your save reflects that unlock.
- Remove the updated installation and reinstall from the physical PS5 disc. The reported aim is to return the game to version 1.000. The article does not provide a verified way to confirm that every disc copy installs that version.
- Prevent the game from updating before launching it. Twisted Voxel suggests canceling a pending update or disconnecting the PS5 from the internet so the older installation is not replaced.
- Load the save with the unlocked outfit and equip it. The reported method depends on the save carrying the unlock from version 1.002 into the disc-installed version.
These are reported steps, not a guaranteed recovery-safe procedure. If the older installation will not load the save or the outfit is unavailable, the cited report does not provide a fix. Avoid treating this as an official or currently supported configuration.

How New Game+ normally handles costumes
Shift Up director Kim Hyung Tae’s April 25, 2024 PlayStation Blog announcement says New Game+ is available after completing the first playthrough. It advises players to revisit costume chests and shops and replay quests to collect costumes they missed. The post says there are 34 new Eve outfits earnable in New Game+ and separately mentions five accessories, so it does not support treating those figures as one unambiguous combined total.
The post’s named example is Crew Style: “The Crew Style is only available in the New Game Plus chest, so keep your eyes peeled for it.” That guidance concerns Crew Style; it does not explain where to find Autonetic Bondage or validate the rollback workaround.

How strong is the evidence?
The specific rollback procedure comes from secondary gaming coverage, not an official support or patch instruction. GeekerMag’s May 8–9, 2024 search-result content describes a similar disc rollback method, but its page could not be opened for verification; it is limited corroboration, not independent confirmation that the steps work today. GeekerMag’s report is therefore not evidence of present-day compatibility.
Accordingly, the safest accurate answer is that a physical-disc rollback was reported as a way to equip the outfit in an older build, but current functionality and compatibility are not established. The official New Game+ guidance supports collecting costumes through chests, shops, and quests; it does not document an uncensored toggle or this version rollback.
