Tell viewers: “Super Chat ek optional paid feature hai. Isse aapka message live chat mein zyada highlight hota hai. Super Sticker ek animated image hota hai. Yeh donation ya crowdfunding nahi hai.” In English: Super Chat highlights a viewer’s paid chat message; a Super Sticker displays an animated image. Both are optional purchases through YouTube on eligible live streams and Premieres.
A simple explanation to say on stream
You can say this in Hindi or Hinglish:
“Super Chat ek optional paid feature hai. Isse aapka message live chat mein zyada highlight hota hai. Super Sticker ek animated image hota hai. Yeh donation ya crowdfunding nahi hai. Kharidna zaroori nahi hai—please sirf tabhi use karein jab aap chahein aur comfortable hon.”
If you want to explain the public aspect too, add: “Aapka channel name, profile picture aur purchase amount publicly visible hote hain.” Keep the wording conversational; viewers do not need a sales pitch to understand the feature.
Super Chat and Super Sticker: what viewers are buying

YouTube describes both as fan-funding features, but says they are not crowdfunding or donation tools. A Super Chat is a highlighted message purchase, and a Super Sticker is an animated-sticker purchase—not an unrestricted payment to the creator.

What not to promise viewers
Buying a Super Chat or Super Sticker does not guarantee that the creator will read it aloud, reply, or give it a particular amount of attention. Avoid promising a response or a specific placement duration. YouTube describes the payments as voluntary and non-refundable; viewers should decide before purchasing.
The purchase details—including the buyer’s channel name, profile picture and amount—are public. Mention this before inviting viewers to use the feature, especially if they may not expect their purchase to be visible.

Why a viewer may not see the purchase option
The button is not available on every channel or every stream. Its absence does not automatically mean there is a problem with the viewer’s device.
Channel and creator eligibility
The creator must meet YouTube’s fan-funding requirements. These include YouTube Partner Program participation, age and region requirements, and acceptance of the relevant Commerce Product Module. India is on YouTube’s eligible-creator location list, but that does not make the feature available to every India-based channel.

Stream and video restrictions
Super Chat and Super Stickers are unavailable on individual videos that are age-restricted, unlisted, private, Made for Kids, associated with a YouTube Giving fundraiser, or have live chat or comments turned off. Availability therefore depends both on the creator’s eligibility and on the settings or status of that particular stream.
Creator-side setup and revenue context
Check Supers in YouTube Studio
For an eligible creator, Supers can be managed in YouTube Studio under Earn → Supers. YouTube says creators receive 70% of Supers revenue confirmed by Google. That is YouTube’s stated share; it is not a promise of a specific creator’s net payment.

YPP thresholds are not a feature guarantee
YouTube’s monetization overview describes an expanded YPP threshold for certain fan-funding features: 500 subscribers, three public uploads in the last 90 days, and either 3,000 eligible public watch hours in the last 365 days or 3 million eligible Shorts views in the last 90 days. Meeting that threshold alone does not guarantee Super Chat is enabled; feature-specific eligibility still applies.
