How to collect them without destroying a plant
Firecracker Berry plants are hazardous to walk through. The item reference says a trampled plant rattles before exploding, deals 5 fire damage in a small radius, and cannot be gathered afterward.
- Approach a patch slowly and avoid walking directly over unharvested plants.
- Pick each berry before moving through the area.
- If a plant starts rattling, step away rather than waiting beside it.
The berries are described as glowing in the dark, so searching after dark may make them easier to spot. That is a practical inference from the item description, not a tested route result.

Two berries are required to craft Rose’s Karma syringe barrel during the quest Flavors of Mayhem. The item reference also says they can be eaten raw or cooked. When affected by a blast zone, they become bomb berries, which can be harvested for raw cobalt flux. Check the in-game recipe for current crafting details.
