Where to get Werewolf Meat
Werewolf Meat is a quest item that comes from Morkvarg himself. Defeat him during “In Wolf’s Clothing,” then loot his remains; both the Witcher.tools walkthrough and GameBanshee walkthrough describe the drop.
Morkvarg can return after being defeated, so if you have not looted him yet, do so before trying to use the meat. It is not an item to buy from a merchant.
How to feed Morkvarg his own meat
- In Freya’s Garden, defeat Morkvarg and loot the Werewolf Meat from his body.
- Find him again and fight until he is weakened enough for the conversation prompt to appear.
- Choose the dialogue option to feed him the meat.
The walkthroughs describe this as a way to kill Morkvarg in werewolf form: the curse cannot turn his own flesh to ash. Interface details can differ by game version or platform; the walkthrough with the most detailed instructions describes The Witcher 3 Remastered.

What happens if you use the meat?
Feeding Morkvarg the Werewolf Meat ends that encounter by killing him as a werewolf. It is one of two documented ways to resolve the curse in the quest.

Choose based on the resolution you want: the meat route kills him as a werewolf, while the fang route removes the curse. The walkthroughs cited here do not establish a reliable reward comparison for every game version or quest state.
