The April Fools 2025 Flamethrower code in Dress To Impress was different for each player: finish a round, read the five emojis above the lobby leaderboard, then match them to numbered clues around the lobby, dressing room and runway/intermission area. The event ended on April 2, 2025, and the reward was removed, so this is now a historical walkthrough rather than a way to claim it.
How the personalized code worked
After a round, the leaderboard displayed five emojis in the order to use for your code. The clue signs paired those same emojis with numbers. Match each emoji to its number, then substitute the digits from left to right. If an emoji appears more than once, use its number each time. Because the sequence was personalized, another player’s code or emoji-to-number mapping may not match yours.
How to solve the Flamethrower puzzle
- Finish a normal round. During the lobby/intermission, find the leaderboard and note or screenshot the five emojis shown above it, keeping their order.
- Search the clue areas. Look around the main lobby and its shelves, walls, windows and flower pots; check salon and nail areas, dressing-room surfaces, and runway/intermission scenery. Find signs pairing emojis with numbers. The VIP section was not part of the hunt.
- Make your own emoji-to-digit key. Record each sign’s pairing—for example, if your server shows a heart matched with 2, note
heart = 2. The displayed values, not another player’s guide or mapping, determine your answer. - Build the five-digit code. Replace each of the five leaderboard emojis with its matching digit, preserving the order shown. Repeated emojis mean repeated digits.
- Enter it through the game’s code interface. During the event, the completed code could be redeemed in the game’s code UI for the Flamethrower reward.
Can you still get the Flamethrower?
No. This was a limited-time April Fools reward, not a reusable public code. The Dress To Impress Wiki’s item record lists availability from April 1, 2025 at 12:00 PM CST to April 2, 2025 at 12:00 PM CST, while The Escapist gave a challenge deadline of April 2 at 10 AM PDT. Both describe an approximately 24-hour event window, though the stated times differ. The event record says it ended on April 2, 2025, and the item was removed from inventories; GamesRadar’s maintained code page also marks it unavailable. Treat the puzzle instructions as reference only unless the game announces a rerun.
What the reward was
The reward was a limited-time tool or gear item. The Dress To Impress Wiki says the player version behaved similarly to an admin Flamethrower but could not set players or items on fire.
