Then update the game and verify that the add-on is installed or enabled on your platform. SEGA lists Avatar Legends as Season Pass Wave 6, but says DLC contents and release dates can change, so a missing store listing may not mean your game is broken.
Check whether Avatar Legends is available and included with your purchase
SEGA’s CrossWorlds Purchase Guide lists the Avatar Legends Pack as Wave 6 of the Season Pass. It includes Aang and Katara as racers, the Gliding Air machine, and the Lion Turtle Island course. The guide says DLC contents and release dates may change; check your platform’s current store listing and official CrossWorlds announcements before treating an unavailable listing as a problem with your copy.
The pack is included through the Season Pass or can be purchased separately. Confirm that the account launching the game owns it, and that the pack is available in that account’s region. A listing, ownership entitlement, and installation are separate checks: a DLC entitlement does not always mean the content has been separately downloaded.
Confirm ownership on Steam or Epic
- Steam: Open Account Details → View licenses and product key activations and check for the relevant entitlement.
- Epic Games Store: Open Manage Account → Transactions → Purchases and Code redemptions and check the purchase or redemption history.

Update the game and restart it
Install the latest CrossWorlds update, then fully close and relaunch the game. SEGA’s Ver. 1.3.1 Update Notice, dated 19 March 2026, says: “You must update to the latest version of the game to use online modes and access DLC.” If you have just bought or downloaded the pack, wait for the download to finish before relaunching.
Check the DLC installation or enabled state
Use the steps for the platform where you play. Menu labels can vary slightly by system or software version.

PlayStation 4
- Select Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds on the home screen.
- Scroll to PlayStation Store and open the game’s add-ons.
- Find Avatar Legends and check whether it is installed or can be installed.
PlayStation 5
- Highlight the game and open its options.
- Choose Manage game content.
- Download the pack if it is offered, wait until the download finishes, then relaunch the game.
Xbox
- Open My games & apps, highlight the game, and choose Manage game and add-ons.
- Select the game and the relevant storage location, then select available items and save changes.
SEGA notes that some owned items shown under “More add-ons” become accessible in-game automatically rather than being separately installable.
Steam
- Open Library, right-click Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds, and choose Properties.
- Open DLC and check whether Avatar Legends is enabled.
- If it is already checked but the content is still missing, uncheck and recheck it to prompt Steam to reinstall the DLC.
Epic Games Store
- Open Library and use the game’s menu to choose Manage Add-Ons.
- Toggle the Avatar Legends add-on off and on.
Epic may show this option only after the game is installed or needs an update. SEGA’s console and PC checks are in its console DLC access guide and DLC access troubleshooting guide.

Complete the tutorial and check for PC mods
For Season Pass or Digital Deluxe access, SEGA’s CrossWorlds-specific Wave 5 DLC instructions say players must first complete the tutorial. Those instructions concern Wave 5, so they are the best official CrossWorlds guidance available here rather than a separately confirmed Avatar Legends fix. SEGA also notes generally that some additional content may require reaching a certain point in a game or using a particular part of it.
If you play on PC with mods or custom files, temporarily remove them and check whether the pack appears. SEGA says modifications can interfere with DLC access.

Check the game and account regions if you use a disc
For a physical copy, compare the region on the game packaging with the region of the account used to access DLC. SEGA gives PEGI for Europe, ESRB for America, and ACB for Australia as examples of regional markings, and warns that a mismatch can make paid or free DLC inaccessible. Its stated options are to request a refund for the DLC or obtain the physical game version for the account’s region. Do not assume a VPN or changing account region is an official fix.
When to contact support
If the pack is currently listed in your region, the correct account owns it, the game is up to date, and the platform shows the DLC installed or enabled, contact SEGA or your platform’s support. Include your platform, game edition, account region, whether you use a disc, and what the store and add-on menus show. The official guidance cited here does not announce an Avatar Legends-specific outage or known issue; check the current store listing and official announcements for availability before pursuing an entitlement fault.
