These are general platform troubleshooting steps—not confirmed fixes for every Powerlust problem. If only Powerlust is affected after the basic checks, contact its developer. Before clearing Android app data or uninstalling, consider whether you can recover your save.
First, identify where the problem occurs
Note your platform and the point of failure: does Powerlust fail to open, stop responding during a loading screen, or freeze after you enter the game? The available support guidance does not identify a single current cause or a universal repair for Powerlust crashes. Use the steps below as platform-level checks, changing one thing at a time so you can tell whether it helped.
- Android: Start with a restart and updates. Avoid clearing data or uninstalling until you have considered save recovery.
- Steam on PC: Start with a fresh restart, updates, and Steam’s file-verification option. Then check background software and system requirements.
Powerlust crashing or not opening on Android
Google’s guidance for an installed Android app that crashes, will not open, or stops responding recommends restarting the phone and checking for Android and app updates. It advises restarting after each step so you can see whether the change resolved the issue.
- Restart your phone. Open Powerlust again and check whether the same failure occurs.
- Update Android. Check your device’s system-update settings and install any available update, then test the game.
- Update Powerlust. Check Google Play for an available game update, install it, and try again.
- Consider cache or data clearing only after safer checks. Google lists clearing an app’s cache or data as possible troubleshooting steps, but clearing data can affect local app data. Do not assume your Powerlust save is backed up to the cloud; check whether you can restore it before proceeding.
- Uninstall only if you accept the data risk. Google warns that uninstalling an app erases its app data. Confirm your save-recovery options before removing Powerlust.
If other apps work normally and only Powerlust continues to fail, Google recommends contacting the app developer rather than treating it as a general phone problem.

Powerlust won’t start or freezes on Steam/PC
Steam’s general launch guidance recommends a fresh restart, operating-system and driver updates, verifying the game files, disabling non-essential software, and checking the game’s system requirements. These checks apply broadly to PC launch problems; they are not confirmed Powerlust-specific fixes.
- Restart the PC, then try launching Powerlust again.
- Install available operating-system and driver updates. Restart if the update process requests it, then retest the game.
- Verify the game files in Steam. In your Steam Library, right-click Powerlust and open Properties, then Installed Files, and select Verify integrity of game files. Let Steam finish before launching again.
- Close non-essential background software. Temporarily disable or exit programs that are not needed to run the game, then test whether Powerlust starts. Re-enable them afterward if they were not involved.
- Check the store-page system requirements. A PC that meets or is close to a game’s listed requirements can still have launch or performance problems, according to Steam; requirements alone do not establish the cause.
If Powerlust freezes while loading or after launch
On Apple platforms, the App Store version history includes the note “Freeze in level loading fixed.” That establishes that a prior update addressed a level-loading freeze, but it does not establish which current build contains the change or that every present-day freeze is resolved. Check for an available update for your edition, then note exactly where the freeze occurs.

For Android, use the restart-and-update checks above before considering data-clearing or reinstalling. On Steam, verify the game files and check updates, drivers, background software, and requirements. If the same Powerlust-only freeze persists, report the symptom to the developer with your platform, device or PC details, and the point at which the game stops responding.
Who to contact when the basic checks fail
For a crash, freeze, or bug that occurs within Powerlust, contact the developer at [email protected]. The Apple listing identifies Bartlomiej Mamzer as the seller/developer and invites feedback by email; the Google Play listing also provides developer support details. Include your platform, the steps that reproduce the problem, and whether the game fails at startup, during loading, or after play begins.

Use Steam Support instead when the issue concerns Steam authentication, a CD key, a purchase, or a Steam dialog or launch process—not a bug that appears after the game has started. Steam directs players with post-launch third-party game problems to the game’s developer or publisher.

Check the current store listing for your edition because compatibility requirements can change. Apple’s listing specifies iOS 13 or later and iPadOS 13 or later, and also lists Mac compatibility on macOS 11 or later with Apple silicon. Google Play lists an Android edition; consult its current listing for device compatibility.
