Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors2Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute3Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsIf XSplit Broadcaster keeps disconnecting from YouTube on JioFiber, first confirm that XSplit has actually started the YouTube broadcast, then compare XSplit’s bandwidth test with your configured bitrate. Test Wi-Fi against Ethernet, check MyJio diagnostics, and look for household network or PC load. The available guidance does not establish a JioFiber-specific XSplit fault, so change one condition at a time and note whether the disconnects change.
Confirm XSplit is broadcasting to YouTube
- In XSplit Broadcaster, open Broadcast, select the configured YouTube output, and start it.
- Check XSplit’s red status bar: XSplit identifies it as the indicator that broadcasting is live. If the channel has never enabled live streaming, XSplit’s guide says first-time activation can require a 24-hour wait. See XSplit’s YouTube streaming guide.
If the broadcast never reaches a live state, troubleshoot the output setup and channel live-stream eligibility before treating it as a JioFiber disconnection.
Compare XSplit’s bandwidth test with the output bitrate
- In XSplit, open the selected YouTube output’s gear or properties and run Test Bandwidth.
- Use the result to assess the connection available to XSplit. XSplit recommends setting video bitrate to the average data rate calculated by its test; its guidance also notes that higher bitrate needs more upload bandwidth and that a suitable setting depends on resolution, frame rate, and available upload speed. See XSplit’s troubleshooting guidance and stream properties guide.
- Change the bitrate only after recording the current setting and test result. Do not infer a correct bitrate from a headline speed-test result alone.
XSplit lists a minimum upload speed of 500 kbps for live streaming at its lowest settings (XSplit system requirements, 2025). This is a baseline minimum, not a recommended bitrate or evidence that a particular resolution and frame rate will run reliably.
Separate Wi-Fi trouble from the JioFiber connection
Run Jio’s diagnostics
- Open MyJio > Home > JioCare > Run Diagnostics.
- Follow the prompts and record any findings about network health, router status, Wi-Fi strength, or device connectivity. Jio says the checks can identify issues such as weak Wi-Fi, loose cables, speed drops, configuration errors, or device overload. See Jio’s JioFiber diagnostics instructions.
Try a wired comparison
If the PC is on Wi-Fi, test once over Ethernet under otherwise similar conditions. A Cat 6 Ethernet cable is one option for making that comparison. If the stream is steadier when wired, Wi-Fi coverage or interference becomes a possibility worth investigating; the test does not rule out an ISP, routing, YouTube ingest, or software issue. Jio also names its Jio Extender for wider or stronger coverage in larger homes with coverage problems, but that is relevant only if diagnostics point to coverage—not as a general fix for disconnects.
#1 Best Overall
- Read Before You Buy — No Video Output: These adapters support charging and USB 2.0 data transfer, but cannot transmit video signals. Except for standard USB webcams (which use USB data only), they are not compatible with HDMI/DisplayPort cables, video-capable USB-C hubs, or docking stations with video output.
- Convert USB-A Ports to USB-C: Designed to connect USB-C earphones, cables, flash drives, card readers, and other USB-C accessories to standard USB-A ports. Plug-and-play with no drivers or software required.
- Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
Check household traffic and PC or encoder load
- Household network: Note whether other devices are using the connection during a failure. XSplit lists other internet use, low upload speed, and unexpected ISP issues among possible network-side contributors.
- Actual stream or recording drops frames: Reduce other processes and check CPU and GPU pressure; XSplit recommends reviewing processing or encoding settings when performance is affected.
- Preview alone stutters: A stage-preview FPS dip by itself does not prove that the outgoing stream is dropping frames. Check the actual output and YouTube stream-health messages before changing encoding settings.
Change one factor per test—for example, pause other household activity without changing the bitrate, then test again. This makes the result easier to interpret than changing several settings at once. See XSplit’s troubleshooting guidance.
Test the YouTube backup-server option carefully
XSplit’s YouTube output properties include an option for a backup server when the default server has issues. After recording a baseline, try the backup-server option as a controlled comparison. It is not a confirmed remedy for Wi-Fi, JioFiber, or home-network problems. The relevant output settings are described in XSplit’s stream properties guide.

What to record before contacting support
- Exact disconnect times and any error or stream-health message shown by YouTube.
- Whether the PC was connected by Wi-Fi or Ethernet.
- The selected XSplit output, its configured bitrate, and the Test Bandwidth result.
- Whether other household devices were using the connection and whether XSplit showed actual output frame drops or only preview stutter.
- MyJio diagnostic findings, including router, Wi-Fi, or device warnings.
- Whether a controlled test with the backup-server option changed the result.
These details help distinguish possible causes; the general checks above cannot identify the cause on an individual JioFiber line. During an incident, check the current service status directly rather than relying on an older status snapshot.

If your goal is to keep uploaded videos looping as a YouTube live stream rather than broadcast a live XSplit scene, StreamNeo is a different approach: upload a recording or build a playlist, add your YouTube stream key, and go live. Nothing has to stay on at home; it streams the uploaded video at its original quality up to 4K 60fps for one flat price per slot, and it can automatically recover if YouTube drops the stream. The first day is free with no card. Monthly pricing is $9.99 per month. It streams uploaded videos to YouTube, not live camera footage. Start your free day with StreamNeo.
