You can follow WWE without a cable subscription, but in the United States there is no single service for every show. Raw streams on Netflix, while SmackDown, NXT, major events and other programs use different outlets. Outside the U.S., Netflix carries most WWE programming in many regions, with local exceptions. Check the current rights for your country and the specific show before signing up.
U.S. WWE viewing options at a glance
WWE’s viewing guide, checked October 4, 2026, splits U.S. programming across streaming services and TV networks. “Without cable” may mean streaming an app, watching a broadcast network over the air, or using another TV package for a network channel.

Know the difference between live events and the archive
In the U.S., Netflix’s WWE library and the current live-event rights are not the same thing. WWE announced in January 2026 that Netflix had become the U.S. home for its library of Premium Live Events from before September 2025, including WrestleMania, SummerSlam and Royal Rumble, as well as documentaries and original programming. Past Raw episodes are also available there. Current main-roster Premium Live Events are listed separately on the ESPN App with ESPN Unlimited. See WWE’s library announcement and its ESPN rights announcement.

Watching WWE outside the United States
WWE says Netflix carries Raw, SmackDown, NXT and all Premium Live Events live in most regions. The rights are not universal, however: WWE names BILD and ProSieben MAXX for Raw, SmackDown and NXT in Germany and Austria, SuperSport for Sub-Saharan Africa, and ABEMA for Japan. WWE’s guide also links to Sony LIV and Flow for premium content, but the displayed information does not set out every territory or package restriction. Confirm the local service and its current rights before subscribing.
Japan is a recent example of why location matters. Netflix announced on September 29, 2026 that it would become WWE’s new home there starting October 1, with Raw, SmackDown, NXT, Premium Live Events and the archive. Netflix said the programming is included with all plans in Japan and that live programming carries ads regardless of plan. Those Japan terms do not establish what is available or included elsewhere. Details are in Netflix’s Japan announcement.
Choose a route that matches what you watch
- Start with your country. Rights, service availability and schedules differ by territory.
- List the shows and promotion you follow. The routes above cover WWE, not every wrestling promotion. Current official viewing options for AEW and TNA are not established here, so check those promotions’ own listings rather than applying WWE’s services to them.
- Separate weekly TV from major events and replays. A service carrying a live event may not be the service with the older event archive.
- Check whether a network is receivable over the air. The CW and USA Network are television networks; watching them without cable can depend on reception in your area or another TV package.
- Confirm supported devices and current plan terms. Netflix says live events work on most newer streaming media players and lists smart TVs, streaming players, mobile devices, computers and game consoles as device categories. Compatibility varies; consult Netflix’s live-events help page. Current subscription prices are not established by the cited viewing information, so check each provider before paying.
Do you need extra hardware?
Not necessarily. If your smart TV, phone, computer or game console supports the service’s app, you may not need anything else. A streaming media player for a TV is an option only if your existing television cannot run a supported app; verify live-event compatibility for the device you are considering before buying one.
