Use the payment channel that handled the purchase: request refunds for Supercell Store orders and Google Play in-game purchases through Supercell Support; request refunds for Apple in-game purchases through Apple. For Supercell or Google purchases, open Clash of Clans and go to Settings > Help and Support, then tap the contact button in the upper-right corner.

Request a refund from Supercell
- Open the support contact form. In Clash of Clans, tap Settings > Help and Support, then tap the contact button in the upper-right corner.
- Explain the issue clearly. Supercell identifies accidental purchases, unauthorized purchases, multiple charges, and bugs that affected a purchase as reasons to request a refund. These are not guarantees of approval; the outcome depends on the specific case and applicable terms.
- Include purchase evidence. For a Supercell Store order, provide the receipt or transaction ID. If you send a screenshot, redact personal information first; Supercell’s Store guidance specifically cautions against exposing personally identifiable information.
- Keep the receipt and support messages. For an Android purchase on behalf of a child, Supercell’s parent guidance says to include the game name, account username, receipt, and visible transaction ID. Supercell’s parent guidance.
Request a refund from Apple
For an in-game purchase made through Apple, contact Apple rather than Supercell. Supercell directs iOS players to Apple because it cannot issue those refunds directly. Apple’s live steps and eligibility rules may vary by account and region, so follow the current instructions provided by Apple.

Timing and what to expect
Google Play purchases
Google Play says a refund request made within 48 hours may be eligible depending on the purchase details; after 48 hours, it advises contacting the app developer. For purchases made without the account holder’s or a known contact’s involvement, Google says to report the unauthorized purchase within 120 days. These are Google policy windows, not promises that a particular request will be approved.
Approved in-game refunds
Supercell says an approved in-game refund may take up to 10 business days to process. For a Google Pay purchase, Google alone has access to the payment information; if more than 10 days have passed, check the refund status with Google. Supercell’s refund guidance.

Supercell Store orders
Supercell’s Store page says processing time depends on the original payment method and gives estimates, not universal guarantees:

These timing estimates are from Supercell’s Store refund guidance; an approved refund goes back through the original payment method. The Store also says a shopping-bag bundle cannot be refunded item by item: all contents of that bag purchase must be refunded together.

Before using the purchased items
Avoid spending or activating purchased content while the request is being considered. Supercell warns that in a specific case where used content is refunded, its equivalent gem value may be removed, leaving the account with a negative gem balance.

Supercell’s general Store terms state that virtual-item purchases are final and non-refundable except where applicable law requires otherwise. Its refund guidance lists fraudulent purchases—including misuse of a credit card or gift card—as invalid reasons, and says it cannot refund because the game was removed from app stores in a particular region. The terms also ask customers to contact Supercell before raising a card chargeback or transaction dispute, so explain the issue accurately and use the appropriate support route.
